I am so glad that military brick sets are taking off like they are. I remember the old days when it was shocking to find a basic COBI Sherman, because it was a subject LEGO had declared verboten, and it seemed like such a risk for a company to throw off the guidance of the Brickfathers. Now we have a huge and incredibly detailed U-VIIC on the market.

Incredible build/display piece. Really like the cross section view as it gives a realistic layout of the submarine, and a real idea of how cramped/claustrophobic they must have felt. The torpedo launching section is also very cool to see in action. Fun part usage with the webbed modified plate as the smaller entry hatchways.

Reminds me of the Scuttling U-529 mission from Medal of Honor Allied Assault where we had to crawl through and destroy a German U boat. Not exactly this, but something similar. A nightmare mission. Getting out of that metal coffin on time was just hard on a next level. Also escaping the facility and getting on the train at the end wasn't easy either. Hard mission but awesome memories.

Enjoying this video/channel more than you know....

Buying every secondary market source of your product sure looks like a business plan similar to store shelving.
Yes, investing in some toy. So, the baggage of my luxury budget of cash purchase should only include, "Fun"?

But the forward torpedo tubes dont open their outer hatches like that. It should go inward.
