Dang, I've been using a very similar lanyard for years and never thought of some of the ways you show here to rig it. So many possibilities with some imagination. These tips open it up for me creativity wise. Thanks a bunch.
You have opened up some great possibilities. I have owned the hip flex for over a year . Thanks for the info and “Happy Climbing” !
I would recommend you buy the 33 cm version of the OD loop as others are too short for storing at the end of the lanyard on the carabiner.
I have this same lanyard. I’m was thinking I’d like to get the neat keeper k1. But I’m guessing I can’t really do that because it would stop me from using the other end correct? Are these two products incompatible?
Hi Craig, yes it is correct that the end can't be used with the k1 keeper. You could however try the system when you pass by our booth on the next fair and see how you like it. :-)
@@TeufelbergerGroup how would I figure out what fairs you are gonna be at. I'm located in Boise Idaho.
Next year we will be at Arborfest, TCIA and ITCC for sure - would love to see you at our booth at some point! :-)
What sets this apart from other WPLs, like the “Chinook” etc
The entire system is certified in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand. hipSTAR flex is also the only work position lanyard also certified as SRT/DRT line
Can we find the pursik with the metal reinforcement separately?
Hello yes you can buy it separately , article number is 7350116 / OD Loop 7mm T
@@TeufelbergerGroup thank you so much
@@TeufelbergerGroup thank you it took me some time to find your site and product. Why only two distributors in Europe for a European product which seems to be amazing? Anyway all the best thank you for the amazing video and for your help
This the CE lanyard replacement?
Yes it is , the only difference is the rope thickness , hipSTAR Flex is existing in 11.5 and 12.7mm.
If it starts gumming up can you wash it?
Hello Jarrid, we have a blog post where you can find questions about washing your rope, hope this answers your question :-)
Omg. Such an amazing gear. Take my money. Oh please. So brilliant I'll just give you money for the sheer brilliance. I just don't understand why I've been using my $20 3-strand braid lanyard for the last 30 years. I've been so obtuse.
U used a simple piece of rope cause that's all this is lol this is litteraly just a short climbing system .am I missing something??
Yes it's a piece of rope , but the only piece of rope certified all over the world as positioning lanyard and SRS or MRS climbing system :-)
@@TeufelbergerGroup not trying to be an a hole by saying this I swear but that's not true ever piece of rope that is sold for climbing is a work positioning system a srs an Mrs system I literally have hundreds of ft if certified climbing rope in my truck yes there other pieces of kit involved in this but let's not try act like you reinvented the wheel here.. hey I'm all about it man there tons other gear that is out there that not for me as well but please dont act like this is some revolutionary product cause any climber worth there salt has or can throw together this product out of gear they allready have. Maybe I'm just missing something I really not trying to bash this product it think it cool that you get this as a kit if your someone who needs all these pieces of gear it cool u get all at once .
@@TeufelbergerGroup With all due respect, don't waste your time on the "old timers"
They will never leave their leather waist belt with side d's and hemp 3 strand lanyard.
Which is fine there is a reason the rest of the world is taking their work.
Maybe because you like working harder than you have to?
Do you still climb on a closed system blakes hitch or have you upgraded to using a split-tail?
It's a peice of rope that hipsters flex with because it cost more and has a fancy name.
Why 150kg that’s nothing
How many 300 lb arborists have you met? 🙄
@@lordaleksandre well a top handle chainsaw is 8/9 lb chainsaw boots are 5 pounds / chainsaw trousers/ then your harness / whatever your wearing/ plus yourself so it’s not a lot really
@@allgood6535I weigh 220 n you're insane if you think I'm climbing around with 80 lbs of gear.
Eh, nothing to see here. It’s just a commercial for their products.
Isn’t a commercial , it’s just a video to explain best use of our product, which is a duty and mission of PPE manufacturer
