I've watched it a handful of times over the last 15 years, and Better Call Saul. They'll never be forgotten.

Wild fires in NM have been horrible. A year ago there was a horrible one up north that displaced people all the way down to Abq. I even volunteered at a motel that was putting up families (paid for by the gov). We were feeding them in the lobby. Their cars were loaded to the ceiling with their things.
Last year?! Apparently the largest yet. Jesus. I was around for the Cerro Grande fire and had to evacuate then too. I knew of a few since then, but none so recent. Another controlled burn I see..
Breaking Bad, Avatar the Last Aribender, and The Office are my top three tv shows. The fact that you are reacting to two out of three of those right now is just incredible. Thank you for the uploads!
I had a bio teacher in high school who was totally pushed around by the class. I always liked him so i imagine when he "randomly" assigned seats, he let me stay next to my crush because we werent total dickheads to him like most.
Aaron Paul's character on the show was supposed to be killed off, but they kept him on and I can totally see why. He brought a human element to the storytelling. Pinkman is the voice of rationality many of the times, often contrasting Walter White's obsession later in the show and having a conscience for the impact that he has on those that he cares for throughout.
I lived in NM a total of about 11 years, 5 years by Albuquerque, and about 6 near the TX border and brush fires are pretty common, however, they're usually kept under control pretty quickly, so they don't end up with the massive fires like Cali can get.
The house my family and I moved into on Maui years ago was raided for a pot grow house. They took away like 600 pounds of it 4 or so months before we moved in lol
This is my fav show of all time, I actually lost count of how many times I've watched it lol You two are one of my fav reactors to the pilot! It was a fun watch and I can already tell how good it's going to be watching along with yall. It's a wild ride!
3:27 "AMC came out with this and The Walking Dead around the same time." 🥲 What a damn shame that their first original show has been forgotten by history. Mad Men was absolutely incredible, but I don't think anyone discovers it these days.
I hope, after you finish this series, you two come back and watch your own reaction to the pilot. I'm curious how you'll feel about some of your comments once you know the rest of the story. Several "I hope" lines that may have some irony for you later, and, of course, I won't share which ones.
Walter White, along with other OG protagonists like Tony Soprano and Don Draper, joins the original trifecta of the horribly flawed, sometimes downright villainous, all-time GREAT Anti-heroes of the modern golden age of television. These characters are so well written and compelling, that it’s shocking how much you forget and end up cheering for horrible things that the characters do. Enjoy the journey!
Wow, just as I was going through Severance withdrawal, you guys start Breaking Bad. Severance was 9 episodes. This is five seasons!!!! Woo-hoo!!! There are only certain reactors I watch EVERY Breaking Bad episode of; I wouldn't miss one episode of Arianna and Maple checking it out! See you on the next one!
I'm so happy you guys are watching this. My favorite reactors watching, possibly, the best TV show ever. Each episode is better than the last and each season is better than the previous one. You made a good choice.
So happy to yee you starting on this series. Breaking Bad, its movie El Camino and the spin-off Better Call Saul are one of the best series out there. And Bryan Cranston surprised me with his acting in this (I only knew him as the dad from Malcolm In The Middle and as a side character in Saving Private Ryan). I'm so looking forward to your first journey in this chemical filled world.
I work on a firefighting helicopter. I've spent so many summers staged at the Double Eagle II Airport in Albuquerque. They get lots of fires there, but it's also a good central location for desert fires in the southwest in general. That said, we drop way more water in California and Oregon than anywhere else. I live in Southern Oregon and I can't remember the last time the Rogue Valley went an entire summer not socked in with smoke at some point.
The fact that you all are now starting this series is FAN-FRICKIN'-TASTIC! As a fan of this show, let me just tell you..... It gets better with every episode! You are in for an absolute thrill-ride with this show.
My high school chem teacher once taught a class in chest-high wader boots, a lab coat, heavy rubber gloves, and goggles. The only student he addressed in that class was Mr. Cluckington, the raw chicken he was using as a puppet. He’s an interesting dude.
