As a pianist, seeing that piano was so exciting. If you are looking to play around, I bet it will be fun. If you are a serious player or looking to seriously learn, this digital piano is useless. You need to be able to feel the keys and spread your fingers to create muscle memory to really be able to play the piano.
Interesting perspective, indeed. Surely there will be a niche market for creating physical gadgets that serve simply as frameworks to interact with VR. This technology opens up a lot of possibilities. I wonder if this could be done on a slightly larger scale. Example, place it on the windshield of a car. There you could get augmented directions to locations, see names of stores as you pass them by. Cops could see reported stolen vehicles pop up with icons next to them as they are detected. You could clearly see where to go without having to look away from the road. Using these glasses, you could load high level instructions on how to repair your car or electronic devices. Race car drivers could install it in their helmets and get real time car conditions and instructions from the pit; lap time info. It's almost turning life situations into a video game HUD. Hmm, the more I think about this, the lack privacy could end up becoming an issue. Reminds me of the movie, Anon on Netflix.

'Cool, now I can play piano without owning a piano!
- BUY THE NEW DIGITAL PIANO FOR ONLY $19.99!
MOTHERFUC.... '
To much Lag time you push a key and it takes 1.5 seconds to get a response
As a pianist, seeing that piano was so exciting. If you are looking to play around, I bet it will be fun. If you are a serious player or looking to seriously learn, this digital piano is useless. You need to be able to feel the keys and spread your fingers to create muscle memory to really be able to play the piano.
Interesting perspective, indeed. Surely there will be a niche market for creating physical gadgets that serve simply as frameworks to interact with VR. As an example you could have a piano like board that simulates nothing but the physical sensation of pressing piano keys, but the sound and behaviour are all virtual. Just like that table during Minecraft's on Hololens presentation.
Just like the Television in the 50's and the VCR in the 80's...this technology will be extremely expensive for a decade or two. The construction aspect and the engineering aspect with exploded view for real time repairs is INVALUABLE!
5 years maybe. I think XR lenses will be the expensive ones

@Deep Mind X well Anyone with $3,000-$5000 can buy Hololens technically, but it is aimed at business for now though.
Their demos showed video games in the past. They looked great. On a whole other level from current vr.
Grzegorz Durda VR was developed purely for gaming, while AR is being developed for practical applications. The Hololens' resolution, color and definition are probably gonna look pretty crappy compared to the latest VR HMD's, 'cause that's kinda like comparing an IPhone 10 to a powerful gaming PC.
@@runi5413 VR was actually developed for business and Science research. Its been marketed for gaming because there is already a new technology and this will be like VHS vs BETA. Current VR is not impressive, yet. Augmented reality provides a completely new dimension to the experience and its whats next. Current VR as it is will be short lived as it always was. The thing is ridiculously obtuse even today.
@@GrzegorzDurda Well, they both offer a very different experience, so I'm pretty sure this won't be like VHS vs BETA.
It would seem that you really dislike VR,... but let's also remember that BETA died because there wasn't any porn on it, which is definitely NOT a problem VR has 😚

i really hope this doesn't die the way "google glass" died. I think we need to support these kinds of inventions cause they are literally bringing us into the future
