    I’m so happy to see this video. At least I know my tomato plant is doing well. I can’t wait to see them ripen.

    Will apply this technique and not manually pollinate flowers once my first harvest is complete. Just had my first red cherry tomato today! Simply amazing! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge!

    This is awesome, I wonder how many times they can be pruned and reset. I'm trying to end the harvest on mine that got too big for the harvest slim and they keep trying to make new growth out of nowhere.

    Those plants are very productive. Seems like they'll last for a while yet if you keep pruning them after every harvest

    I found a way take click and grow work better. I also use aerogarden nutrients or maxi grow in it .plus after 2 weeks I put the click and grow pods in regular 2 inch net cups it works great plus I use a spare tote bin alone side of my click and grow system
    .it's 100 percent and I use root grow sponges

    what is the humidity level of your grow room? is the room humidity important?
    in my house in winter it is 30 to 40% humidity, i would think it is too dry no?

    When you deep clean the system do you put the full fertilizer amounts in with mature plants?

    • @aerogardenexperiments
      @aerogardenexperiments  7 месяцев назад

      Yes. I put full amount of nutrients when I clean the gardens irrespective of the age/maturity of the plants.

    I have a question when you’re picking the tomatoes off the plant are you just pulling them one by one or are you cutting at the stem?

    • @aerogardenexperiments
      @aerogardenexperiments  2 месяца назад +1

      I pick them one by one as they ripe. Once all tomatoes are harvested, I cut the stem.

    Can you put a link to the cherry tomato seeds that you use? I haven't had any success with the tomatoes I've planted in any of my aerogardens and I've just recently resorted to buying the pods directly from aerogarden out of desperation.

      @@cduncan1497 I recieved a bad batch of seed pods from aerogarden..he has a video of him recieving a similar batch...they were very very tall and unproductive...out of anger I cut it back like this video demonstrates and now have great yields and this is my third cut back with great results..I've not had to replace any plants and even the cuttings are producing fruit...I have several different hydroponic gardening units and have great success with orange hat micro dwarf tomatoes and other micro dwarf varieties..most recently I'm harvesting tons of delicious tomatoes from a variety called bonsai..it did outgrow my smaller unit but it's so full of fruit I dont care

    How do you keep the stem standing? If they are too heavy, sometimes they break. What’s your remedy for this?

    • @aerogardenexperiments
      @aerogardenexperiments  10 месяцев назад +1

      I never saw them breaking up, but I see them fall off as they get heavy with lots of tomatoes. I just let them fall off. If I really think of adding some support, I will tie them onto the shelving rods on either side. All my hydroponics systems are in the wired shelving unit and each garden will get 4 rods in 4 corners. I can just tie them as needed.

    Are you pollinating the flowers or it's only female flowers?

    • @aerogardenexperiments
      @aerogardenexperiments  2 года назад +1

      I don't do pollinate explicitly but I shake the plants sometimes to simulate the nature. Tomato flowers are complete flowers. As they bloom, they get themselves what they wanted for pollination.
