Many years ago I was driving through this tunnel at 2am with a lotus Elise and next to me was a Subaru Impreza, there was a look, a nod, a slowing down and then a hell of a noise :) this noise gives me the little shiver of remembering that time :) thanks Tim 😊

Hey Tim, train driver from Bavaria here. As kid I was to be found more on trucks and tractors than at home or with my friends but somehow I got interested in railroads. Watching your videos is always entertaining and feels like I’m back as a youth taking rides with truckers :) Sonce my load is usually about 30 trailers I’m kind of trucking myself, just on the high iron

Lol I know axactly how you felt in that tunnel, I used to feel the same in any tunnel when I had my sapphire cosworth 4x4 with a 4 inch rolled out exhaust. Then the cheery ontop, waste gate chatter. Oh my lol

Poor old Darren, Tim is really 'high maintenance' But your face going through Dartford tunnel was a classic! You remind me of Phil Cool (TV impressionist of the 80s) he had an elastic face and could pull all sorts of expressions! So sad that you have lost the best bit of your truck...the side pipe (and smoke) Well at least you can drive past VOSA / DVSA now and not try and make yourself invisible!

Where I work we have a juiced up r580 it has a muffler on it but you can still here the thing pulling for about 2-3kms

I used to do Home Shopping deliveries around Horton Kirby. And those roads are sketchy in 3.5 tonne I'd be saying "yeh nah" doing it in a Class 1! Just be glad they weren't playing in the river cos that bridge part gets rammed!

Maybe, (just have a little think about it) get your V8 piped up for hydraulics, buy a bulker trailer or half pipe and do aggregates, just another line you could do
