  • Hello!
I'm Enoch from Australia, and I've been learning Italian for just over a year now, I hope this video can inspire you to learn a language (hopefully Italian) as well!
I had lots of fun making this video, if you'd like to see more on my language learning journey, let me know!
    Have a good day :)

Fellow Aussie trying to learn Italian here, and WOW you've inspired me to push harder and do more study.
I hope you make more videos, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the city you lived in, what foods you enjoyed while in italy, more about what you studied, what things surprised you about living there etc (all in Italian of course).
I will subscribe just in case!

Very inspiring! The amount of dedication you put into studying Italian shows how much you really cared for the culture and people that live in Italy herself. The amount of confidence it took for you to speak to that Italian woman on the plane is no doubt the best thing that had happened to you on your journey, as it definitely gave you the confidence boost needed to speak Italian well. Although I am currently not studying Italian, this video has definitely given me the inspiration needed to restudy Spanish and learn it to the level in which you speak Italian.
    What a magnificent video!

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. I've also recently started studying Spanish, and I'm glad you've decided to continue with it too! All the best!

Bravissimo Enoch!!

Hai fatto molto bene, anzi benissimo!

Caspiterina, sei proprio bravo! My advice is to avoid translating from English as much as possible, which is something that Duolingo tends to do; for example, in the first place = tanto per cominciare. Congratulations and keep up the great work!

That's really helpful advice! I've never heard of that phrase, would using "nel primo posto" be completely wrong, or just extremely strange? I guess learning these little phrases comes with more exposure and experience with the language.
