    Lovely video...and your others. Thanks for sharing. Just subscribed. I received a Ace 400 today in the mail and had 2 minutes to test in my backyard, in the dark. Skipped some iron signals, got one mid 80s hit. Pinpointed. Dug a 3 inch round and deep plug, and pulled out an old dune buggy Matchbox car. Easily been there a few decades in my 50+ year old house. Thrilled to get something in such a short test. The thing works! I'll report back after this weekend. :-) Need to set up my own metal hunting channel. Cheers.

    Hi Geoff as I said I was. going to give up but after watching your videos even if i don’t get many
    Finds I will be happy just detecting on the beaches I no longer have any interest in hunting for
    Clubs that don’t exist in the south watching your videos is always interesting and thank you
    For your advice on detecting round the groins and bays who needs clubs go solo it’s easier
    And cheaper good hunting Geoff

      Sorry for my late reply, definitely go solo I can't stand clubs with all the politics and back stabbing. I have met some true friends beach detecting and we go out in our own group. Plus you save yourself £20 each time

      sorry, Sean, I must have missed this one... the thumbs down happens... but i do not mind, i am not into being all show look at me type videos. my channel is about real metal detecting. what you see is what i find.. they do not appreciate how much work goes into making a video. especially at that time, i could hardly work a computer, I thank you for your continuous support and always appreciate any comments. I think Ben the Giant Garrett Detectorist.is great , not all about gold silver rings.it is about getting out there. i will in the future show all the rubbish i dig up

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  3 года назад

      I think it is the best coin shooter for pebble beaches. It's all about telling the difference between 50p 10p and pull rings. Only every now and then I dig a pull ring.

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  3 года назад +1

      A combination of both, I normally take them to Morrisons and feed them into the cash changer machine. They earn that 10 percent by cleaning them, literally money laundering lol

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  4 года назад

      I still think it is the best coin hunting machine on pebble beaches. I have a equinox for the wet sands but will mostly use my ace 400 for coin hunting.

      @@BeepingMad garret 400i for coin and jewelry is very good 😉

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  4 года назад +1

      @@trollpig3293 yes it is good, in the UK it is hard to tell the difference between a pull ring and a 50p. The id numbers are. So close. The equinox can't tell the difference, but the ace 400 mostly can. It you are going to do wet sands I would recommend getting a vanquish or equinox. They get through the wet sands like a search light. If it on the dry the ace 400

    For the beach you really need a sniper coil nel snake.

  • @MichaelHadac
    @MichaelHadac 5 лет назад +1

    I've got Garrett ACE 300 and the Tecnetics Delta 4000. I love them both but I think the TD4 is faster to read mixed targets and also much lighter. They both need the sensitivity lowered on wet sand. So if you delete (bottom 1-40), how can you find a gold ring or gold pendants?

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  5 лет назад

      Hi the settings are a compromise so you can get out on the wet sands, most rings one in on the 60s and up to the 80s. So notching out 10 to 50 helps get rid of the effect the salt has.the best beach machine is the minelab equinox.

      I dug loads of trash, I mostly do not show it. I think the ratio was 10 bottle tops to every pound coin or something like that.

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  7 лет назад +1

      kayak1969p yes that will be fine... on the wet sand notch out the same as you would the 400 so detect 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s.... so all five on the right lit up... you can get it on the wet sand and find stuff

    I'm using my at river banks and mountains, nothing yet cero cilch.
    Any tips.

    • @BeepingMad
      @BeepingMad  4 года назад +1

      Hi on the wet sand it works better with a small coil.. notch out 10.20.30.40. and sometimes 50s and 60s you will still find the gold. I think it is a great detector I will never get rid of mine. Even now I have a nox but on the pebbles my ace 400 is my got to machine. The main thing is just enjoy detecting. If you are thinking of upgrading get s nox 600. You do not need a 800 the £175 is far better off in your pocket.
