They used to be more Christian influenced with Craig Mabbit in their first album. Beau and another are Christians but the band does not label themselves as such. Which is a good thing cuz then people would disregard them, which is a sad unfair reality. It is what it is
You must be new to the metalcore scene :D Les Paul got humbucker, which are great for stronger and less noisy distortions, also usually has maple wood, which is very heavy and make the sound even better. Since I've got one I never touched my stratocaster for years !

Jake Odell ya haha u just match it up.. when i record i record alot of diff things.. first i record my voice get the right take that i want then go back and film me redoing it with a camera and just match the audio with the lips then the video to the song

Melodic Metalcore is the proper term for that sub-genre if you want to go into it. Post-Hardcore is what they use to refer to Melodic Metalcore.
