More than 500,000 Houston homes are in a food desert where there is no grocery store for at least a mile. A Second Ward grocery store in a food desert is now offering meal kits and recipes. That's true, but it seems like this store have full sized seasoning bottles instead of the tiny packs Hello Fresh give you, so down the line you save because you'll only have to buy meat and veggies.
