This series has definitely given me a new perspective on Raam. I've always respected him as a formidable-opponent (Insane Raam is rouugh). But this is a sobering reminder that despite being a hardass.. We aren't so different.
Poor Carmine once again getting the shortest straw. I was also kinda disappointed that they killed off Sraak somewhat unceremoniously. I was hoping we would see a bit more of his rivalry with Raam.
I'm glad they've finally revealed a Carmine, there's also another member of the family, Fredo, and if he made a physical appearance rather than being mentioned I think he would've been the first Carmine with a face shown
First Carmine to die, Knifed by Raam, then sniped by drone, eaten alive by Nemacytes, well Clayton survived, another one well? Crushed by DeeBee drop pod.
In all honesty if Clayton was in the war and he found his uncle dead that would probably give him the reason to hate the locust and the rest builds up making him taking the name "grub killer" because he knows his family is getting killed in this war with the locust.
I just ordered the paperback compilation that comes with Sraak as a playable character for Gears 4. Really hoping we get a locust campaign centric game.
I love Raam and Skorge relationship and the fact that him doesn't wanna know his fate and promising his friend to be the next after his death, the scene of Skorge seeing his fall at the end of the original gears has a brand new meaning to me now and a sad one It's a shame that we never see that moment being made it properly with his final desing and not like that Theron with cape or Myrrah like in Ultimate And the 2 Therons who help Raam to the end remind me and can be his 2 companions during the cog soldier execution scene in the first gears too
I think GoW does a fantastic job making it visable for us to see the tactics and thought processes of RAAM and Skorge. Their differing approach in tactics. Gears 4 had a void of lacking a great Swarm general or caccooned Locust that rallies everyone.
OML WTF Its possible that Gary was their second cousin or something, I think he was the son of Frederic Carmine who was Clay's cousin and Fred was a reporter in Halvo Bay.

I think Gary is dead because on the game where you can download the characters, they have all the Carmine characters and all of them have their zombie characters except for Clayton!! So I think he’s going to be dead come Gears 5...
We definetely need a locust Gears of War. Better a prequel one. Swarm sucks. Gears 4 sucks. Even an Aspho Field prequel with Marcus could've been way better.

But in Gears if War 4 if you look at the back of their head you can see a black outline like the hair is getting kinda long (like a growing buzz cut) you can see it with Anthony and Ben that’s all you can see Clayton I’m not so sure if you can see it but those two have black hair. Nic Rivas Maybe, it feels like almost every character in the entire story has black or blonde hair, because of that I feel like the Carmines have dark brown hair. It's just my opinion.

He got Grub Killer and tattoos because of his fallen late brothers, Tony and Ben. His (presumed) uncle mainly served in the Pendulum Wars
