Check out how my 2 systems do in Ashes Of The Singlearity CPU Focused Benchmark, using the Crazy Preset. RX 4090 MSI Suprim X paired with the Intel i9 14900KS overclocked with 8533MHz CL38 Ram. My Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 3D using PBO+ Curve Optimizer.
Both GPU's were overclocked, and Both systems were using Smart Access Memory and Resizable Bar.

Cache is not always King, but giving the difference in power both CPU's are using. I think the 7950X 3D did well. Zen 5 3D is going to be a problem for Intel for sure.
Is this with cache preferred? Nice video as always.
Are you sure you used the gamebar to enaled "remember this is a game" ? When I do this on my side, the second CCD usage is close to 0 on all cores and benchmark result is 10FPS higher.
Seems like this version now uses both cpu and gpu equally to a good amount.
When it comes to raw performance I usually don't look the power draws but the 7950x 3d holds on its own and both systems provide really good results but I have to say that the AMD system looks super impressive especially when it comes in price to performance. Intel will need to shift things arround really fast if they want to actually compete in the future.
I wonder how Zen 5 will do in this
This game definitely seems to be sensitive to frequency. Loves higher clock rates.
I wonder how the 7800x3D would compare, not having the extra CCD may be an advantage for gaming.
And despite the 7950x3D having double the cache, it doesn't have double the cache allocated PER CORE which is what really matters, since each CCD has it's own cache which is best used with it's own respective cores. But since I also do productive workloads I'd still give up some performance in games for productivity. (Also you can disable the extra CCD if need be).
PS: For a fair comparison the same GPU needs to be used though, if CPU communication with the GPU is slower then that will affect the CPU's performance.
It's a CPU Focused Benchmark. The GPU's really didn't do anything in this benchmark. That's why the results are saying "CPU rendered Frames". If you are curious about the 7950X 3D's performance compared to the 7800X 3D watch this video ruclips.net/video/Y8ztpM70jEw/видео.htmlsi=ujzoPFbw8v0sapUn 😮
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer I know that, but what I said still applies. The CPU still has to communicate with the GPU and that will affect even the CPU framerate, whether marginally or not who knows. But it is a factor, I'm not disputing your results but if I were, I'd never take a different GPU setup as being valid for direct comparison.
Im not worried about what you would or wouldnt do because you are just talking. You have not done any testing of your own.
I dont value what yuou have to say. This is a CPU Focused benchmark. Unless you can prove what you are saying is facts don't bore me. @@OGPatriot03
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer I suppose it's time to unsubscribe, I don't appreciate the unhinged vitriol. I'm a game dev myself and I don't care what you choose to believe, what I said wasn't hostile and it didn't warrant your snide comment.
To be frank, all is fair. These videos have bored my anyway, no hard feelings.
what the hell is going on in this game??
This guy benchmarks.
That power difference... yikes
250watt vs 70watt 🤣🤣 intel is dead
