Either no one wants to play such a game on their phone, or no one who plays games on their phone wants to pay such a price when all the other games are free.

And third the game is old. If it was a brand new game, it would still do poorly (based on the two points you made) but not as poorly.

It’s not cross purchase with Mac/iPad is it ? If is then it at least adds some value to it.

I think it's all of these factors overlapping at the same time, essentially creating a stupidly high mountain to climb

No one wants such a low quality experience on 1000+$ product.

Playing these big budget AAA games on a phone is like trying to watch Endgame on the smallest theater screen you can find. I think smaller titles can thrive on mobile, but people want to experience these bigger games on their monitors or tvs. I think down the line when mobile gaming is bigger in the west it could work.

Idk why it's so hard for people to understand that. I have a 55" 4k TV for games and movies and planning on getting a even bigger TV as kinda like a home theater for movies,
The only thing I'm doing on my phone is text, call, social media, RUclips nothing else,
I'm playing God of War Ragnarok right now, there's no way I'll ever waste enjoying this game on a tiny screen mobile phone.

With the modern version of mobile gaming customers are just not trained to think that games are worth that higher price tag. f2p and gatcha has such a stronghold I don’t think anything would knock them out.

If it was 25$ for both game and dlc I would buy it, but 40$ for both? That’s little bit too much, especially since I got on sale both RE7 and 8 Gold Editions on Xbox. I bought RE Village and RE4 Remake on iOS along with their story DLCs at launch, but those at least went on sale on launch. RE RUclips channel claimed in description, that there would be launch sale on RE7 iOS, but it never went on sale yet. I am still willing to buy it, but at bit lower price. But for that I guess I have to wait. I’ll will also do the same with upcoming RE2 Remake on iOS, buy it on sale, be it launch one or later. I hope they bring RE3 Remake to iPhone/iPad too. Btw I only can recommend playing those if you have controller, without it it’s bad and if it wasn’t compatible I would never even considered buying it in a first place.

I like where the steamdeck charger is, ok I do mostly play when laying down so that mean when my arms get tired I just prop it up on my chest so I can rest my arms - couldn’t do that with the charger hanging out

In fairness, alongside the majority of gamers wanting to play this having consoles, I also haven't seen this marketed at all. I don't think there's much awareness of this game even being available on IOS tbh.

Just go to shows no gamer wants to play these games on a god dam phone

Im sure youd see more sales or at least a lot more playtime if they dropped a PSVR 2 upgrade to RE7

They need newer games to come out also some might be buying these on MAC OS and not counting towards iOS purchase

Hopefully the bag from Apple to make this port means this wasn't a complete disaster, but it shows there's just no audience for this.

Nobody is gonna play a AAA game on their small screen phone and then have 30% battery by 2pm.

People don't want AAA games on phones! The audience on mobile have short attention spans and there for do not have time for full length AAA games.

Yes and no, the real issue is the price.
If this game is to be made it needs to adapt to mobile audiences, free to play is the main way to play and make maybe shorter chapters ( like you said )

As far as I could tell the only people who bought those games on IPhone were those who wanted to dunk on the Switch for not being capable of running those games, to which i would say:
Yeah, no shit a 300$ Handheld from almost 8 years ago can't run those games natively.

I feel sorry for the devs. What a waste of money and resources. Screw those cheap apple users.
