KenDBerryMD Sir, I need your help. There is some sort of medication called Kyani and the producers claim to cure many ailments with mostly nitrit oxide and some vitamins and minerals as well. As you are a reliable doctor to me who strictly tells people to avoid from things in packages I dont trust these guys and I need your opinion.
@@furkanerdem8151 I'm not Dr. Berry, but your first step to healing your body is through diet. Follow your gut instinct..."don't trust these guys". Click on the link Dr. Berry provided and go for it. The Keto diet, along with intermittent fasting has helped so many people heal their bodies, including me! I pray that you achieve all of your health goals, as well!
Hey Dr Berry have you ever done a video on reversing Arteriosclerosis? What are your thoughts on using Ketosis and intermittent fasting to help reduce or eliminate these blockages. If you think it would be possible I'd love to see a video or just hear your thoughts.
Feels like I'm having a heart attack...i'll tell what's been going on I've been having chest pains like needles going thru my chest. Leg cramps. Dizziness feel like throwing up and pass out . And my.left arm is numb and burn... and neck burning . Tired all the time even tho I work nights but I shld be use to it will be their a year in July. Headaches.... Been wondering if anyone know these symptoms
Here I am at 10:24 pm, a 16 year old kid freaking tf out because my left arm is hurting but I think I am just paranoid and my arm is hurting cuz of that. It was so reassuring to hear him say if it got better while exercising. Cuz I did a good hour and a half walk and the chest pain went straight away.
Keltsey Peterson I’ve been feeling like this too.. it’s awful, I’m only 20. But both my parents have heart disease and my dad had his 3rd heart attack last week. I’ve had 6 ECG’s in the past year from different machines and places because of heart anxiety and all were normal yet I’m still unsure if it’s anxiety, muscle related or an actual heart problem...
Gil Carter I’m only 20 so it sounds stupid of me to ask, but what were your symptoms. Assuming you’ve read my comment, would you say I shouldn’t worry about my heart after the tests despite still to this day getting chest aches, twinges or pains sometimes and feeling quite shallow of breath or slow breath... even though I had my pulse and oxygen levels checked last week which were perfect and my resting heart rate is usually 60bpm.
Thank you for this video, very helpful. My late husband had his first heart attack at age 36. Being so young, he resisted going to the doctor or the ER, saying, "No, I can walk this off!" He was tough like that. Eventually he did end up in the ER, though, and sure enough, yes it was a heart attack. He had several more over the years, and fortunately he was not so stubborn about going to the hospital after that first one. I'm pleased to say that he outlived his prognosis, and made it all the way to age 61.
If you know anyone else that has chest pain, have them play Benny Hinn's Live healing service utube videos. My sons chest pain went away when I started playing one and I play them if I have a headache and they've helped me so much with joint pain, not a lie.
"Woman busy with chores for your man..." oh pleez doc !! But anyway ,thanks for the cardiology lesson. ♀ women are killed by heart disease more than all cancers together!!!
@@pedrofigueroa1319 changing your lifestyle(avoid anxiety causing foods) , doing relaxing activities(like reading pleasant novels) before bed instead and strictly sticking to it is the only solution .
Panic attacks R of the devil! I hate those and get them confused with heart attack symptoms. I only went to the ER once with that feeling turns out it was just a panic attack so now I'm able to recognize. Still it caused stress because at the back of ur mind it could be a heart attack but with the pandemic going on I don't want to go to the hospital. I don't want to be around it I have no fear of hospitals. Until covid 19 started.
My husband had heartburn for two weeks along with vomiting I told him enough was enough we went to the hospital and found out he needed a double bypass, the doctor told me if we would’ve waited longer he would have had a heart attack, he received two stints, I’m glad he’s doing excellent!
Is it just me or does everybody like dr. Ken Berry's bright ideas when it comes to videos can't thank Dr. berry enough for the free education he offers RUclips
@@BigDaddy-dr8gf I've been at my job 19 years I only call in sick 5 times I don't even have a doctor and I agree with you I wish that I could dr. Berry as my doctor cuz I'm afraid to go to the doctor because I think they're going to tell me that start eating fruit or potatoes or some stupid BS cuz you know DOCTORS LIE ....LOL
I went three times to my doctors with chest pain, and they said everything was fine. My sister died of sudden unexpected cardiac arrest--and she was just 57. My biggest problem has always been finding a doctor that takes me seriously. Now, if someone like me NEVER goes to the doctor, if I come in, don't you think they should take me seriously?
Make a note of what u eating/ drinking that cold cause chest pain. R U lactose intolerant? Too much sugar in your foods Avoid drinking anything AFTER EATING foods. Avoid lay in down/ exercise for few hours. Standing up / walking whilst eating/ drinking effects the heart- so many people don't know this- the western culture habits r bad for health
Same, I’ve had an allergic reaction and just wanted to see what I was allergic too, instead the doctor just said it was acne and now Im more scared to eat cause doctors do not take things seriously anymore nowadays.
My mom had a "stuttering heart attack" over a few days, and her only symptoms were feeling like she had a pill stuck in her throat and being physically tired. When she finally went to the doctor, they sent her to the ER just in time to save her. Thank you Dr for making this video. I hope it saves lives. I love the Sanford and Son reference, btw.
Watched this last night when I started coughing blood after a month of coughing. Just came back from The hospital where they made an x ray and saw that it’s a severe chest infection. Don’t wait guys. Go see a doctor and don’t panic. There’s medicine in our time and age thanks to science and everything. Super grateful rn. Sending love and best wishes to everyone goin through something. Greetings from Egypt.
@@sansnom77766 suddenly 1 midnight i felt this deep pain inside my sternum.. it was severe then the day afterwards it got better and now 2 days later i have only 10% of pain in my upper sternum… What is it , should i go to the doctor?
I went from having sharp pains under my left nipple where the pec muscle ends. I figured it was from sitting and having my arms elevated after a few hours. Doc agreed. I was being treated for high BP and thought why wasn't my right side hurting? This went on for 3 years until I flat out told my DR we need to figure this out and not throw pills at it. A simple EKG and within that SAME week I was in a operating room having a stent put in. I had a 80% blockage in my heart. Some things you need to aggressive quick. The heart is one of them.
Was it dull and pressurized? I feel like I have pressure in the area. Not dead center of chest it’s all on the left side. He keeps saying pressure but puts hands on center of chest.
Would love to hear your perspective on the differences in the symptoms between heart attacks / panic attacks / chest pressure and pain caused by asthma!
Definitely on the chest pressure with asthma can't get a deep breath and feel pressure tightness in my chest and feels like someone is squeezing me I would definitely love to hear about that is well
@@BrooklynCapo Sure, but a panic attack feels like it's in the body. Heart rate spikes, respiration spikes. It feels like a knife is stuck in your chest.
That happened to aunt. She was throwing up and thought she had a stomach bug. She had emergency open heart surgery and they couldn’t get her heart restarted but finally they did and she lived another 20 years. Really gave us a scare.
I've been to GP and heart specialist. Have done ECG, ran on treadmill and both Doctors saw nothing wrong with my heart. Concerning is the chest pain and heaviness keeps coming back.
It can take a while to get angina diagnosed. My initial ECGs and treadmill tests didn't show much of anything. The MIBI test showed the problem though. If the pain continues, keep telling your doctor about it until you get an adequate explanation.
I continue to have chest pain. I have been going to a Cardiologist. And after having some tests done. I was finally told that my heart is good. I have gone so many times to the hospital. That now, I owe an extreme amount of money! Its so frustrating not knowing what the source of my chest pain. I have also been cleared by a pulmonologist. And to add to my situation I have been denied new patient services by a primary care physician. Due to medication , I'm being prescribed by a different medical facility. I need prayers please!
You and this video just saved my life sir. In the morning I am getting a triple bypass. They will also fix the flutter in my heart. You saved another life with this video.
The doctors around here think everything is just a panic attack. I took my son to the ER numerous times for chest pains and they did not even bother looking him over even though several members of his father's family started having heart attacks in their teens. The doctors always sent him home saying it was a panic attack. When he was 19 he had a severe heart attack in front of the ER doctor that had just told me the panic attack story. Please nobody dismiss a persons chest pain because of a persons age.
Tawnya Elliott same thing happen to me! No doctors listen to what I am saying. They should be ashamed! Until now i still remember the struggles of having that kind of same problem last year. And luckily I found out about Dr Bergs keto diet and this channel too. Add some nutritions and vitamins and here I am. I think im fully healed because I can run now without the pain and shortness of breath. I will never forgive those worthless doctors!
@@Rojan135 The doctors kept telling me that my son was too young for a heart condition. People need to know people can have heart problems at any age. Even infants have heart issues sometimes. I am quite sire that bad diet is a driving force in many cases.
I been there and any increase heart rate and chest pain to them unless your over age 60 = panic attack induced respiratory acidosis what a joke right????
I wish you had spoken about anxiety and chest pain. as someone who suffers from an anxiety disordet, I know all about how panic attacks can mimic heart attack and stroke symptoms.
Spicy Artisan Hipster Salami I had no idea that menopause can cause anxiety & anxiety attacks. Great. Another issue to deal with as I get older. Thanks for sharing.
@@jasminevaughn5214 yes. research hyperventilation symptoms. stop breathing. no joke. inhale 4, exhale 8 (or longer), hold 12 (or longer). repeat. make ir meditative breathing. as you start to deplete excess oxygen, tour symptoms should ease. that is, of course, if you are sure your symptoms are panic and not heart attack. I always the an unbuffered aspirin just to be safe. if your lips are blue or your skin is ahen, you need the ambulance and oxygen.
It's true even im suffering anxiety past 2years.. I even have tat symptoms sometimes a week chest feel weirdly after then one sided arm & leg feel weaknesses like strokes
Rahul Sharma Do you feel like a moron when you doubt someone with severe panic attacks and severe anxiety? You, sir are not a hypochondriac. Panic attacks and anxiety have been associated with heart disease for quite some time. Again, you are no hypochondriac, you are truly a moron.
Breathing into a bag helped me to a certain extent and listening to calming music and just keep telling yourself this will pass just give it time I had an awful one in my car a couple months ago
Winston Blick I had a panic attack last month and it was like i was going to die and there was so much pressure in my chest finally I fell asleep after suffering 1 hour from it .it was a disaster experience .
This is some symtomes i have godt last days • 4 Aug Woke up dizzy, nauseous, palpitations, tired/exhausted, short of breath. • 5 Aug Burning left side chest, dizzy, tired during the day • 6 Aug Burning left side chest, dizziness • 8 Aug Pain in the stomach, pressure in the chest • 9 stomach ache in the evening, lack of oxygen. Tired daytime • 14 Aug Strong heartbeat, squeezing pressure in the chest. • 15 Aug Pain in the left side of the chest. I also had heart surgery when I was 7 years old, but they say it should be fine now. I have had such symptoms many times now but the doctor thinks I am young and healthy and does not believe anything is serious. If I go to the emergency room, I'm only sent home shortly afterwards. I'm not usually one to show that I'm in pain, but the symptoms have gotten worse in a short time. I am tired of going to doctor now but also not feeling very safe be alone whit this
I’m glad you don’t turn people away. I’m dealing with chest pain. My copay for the ER is over $700, and I refuse to pay and get treated like I’m a hypochondriac.
How you made me laugh! You understand women so well. So many of us think we're going to bother you especially we introverts. It's nothing. Let's see if it goes away. Thanks again for your time and caring. You are one in a million, Dr Berry.
Women? They generally go to hospital and doctors in droves. Go see any hospital. If there isnt at least 10 women wanting to be medicated. It isnt a hospital 😂
Thank you for giving us permission to go to the E.R. I do always feel like I'm inconveniencing hospital staff when I need help. My husband forces me to get checked out, bless his heart.
I hope you are still alive to read this. Please never feel like you are inconveniencing anyone that works in the medical field. They are there to serve you and your health. That’s what they get paid for. As a matter of fact if anyone is rude to you, get their name and where they work and send it to me and I will take care of it!!!!!! Dam that really pissed me off to think anyone would deny themselves medical attention because they are being treated poorly by staff who gets paid to do a job to keep us healthy!!!!!!!! God bless you ! I care ! I am a survivor and I don’t back down from anyone treating another person with disrespect! ❤I care !
Panic attacks can mimic heart attacks very well! I’ve been to emergency 3 times thinking I was having a heart attack. Started with skipped heart beats, then heart racing with shortness of breath, light jaw pain, dizziness, vision got dark like black smoke, trembling, cold sweats …. Thought I was dying. Got to the ER, the episode was decreasing, got all exams, labs, x-rays… no heart attack in the lightest, blood levels good, ECG normal..was released and traveled on vacation that same day as planned, just to have another episode after arriving from vacation. This one was longer and shortness of breath was worse and scarier. It started in the middle of my sleep. ER again, all good results all over again. Started therapy and informing myself about my condition. Now I’ve learned some techniques and now I can break an episode almost on the spot, but it is still scary and sometimes I still think it’s my heart.
Three years ago I had tightness in my jaw and neck and it was a heart attack. Since then I quit smoking and eat keto and I'm doing great, much healthier than the past 10-15 years. Your videos are great information! 😊
VERY INFORMATIVE, as all your videos are. THANK YOU! At 62 I had a squeezing chest pain w severe pressure that left me gasping for breath. IF this ever happens again I told my husband 911 will be called. Started keto May 2018, 36 lb loss to date, 20 lbs more to loose. Heart disease runs in my family but keto woe will help me live longer, I believe.
Had really bad heartburn and been on meds for acid reflux for a few months. Couldn't get into gastroenterology for a few weeks, so I went to emergency. EKG and blood work showed no indication of heart problems. Two weeks later I returned to emergency and EKG and blood work proved it was heart attack. Rushed to cath lab and received two stents in artery in back of my heart. This was five days ago. Feeling better than I have in months. Be your own advocate.
Thank you for the valuable information. I went to the doctor after watching this video and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Never hesitate to go to the hospital if you have any clear symptoms.
Thank you Dr Berry! I'm a 57yo female who's anxiety disorder was untreated for years because of a false diagnosed Mitral and Tricuspid valve prolapse from before the angles on ultrasound were precise enough to get it right. Add neuropathy from botched bilateral prophylactic mastectomies, reflux, asthma and morbid obesity to it, and a simple chest pain can be very confusing and terrifying. And the anxiety of having chest pain and not knowing what is causing it just ramps the pain up even more. Sometimes I think the anxiety could get so bad that it could cause a heart attack.
when I was at 320 pounds I was having heart palpitations and pain. my heart would flutter and it was terrifying. but since I've lost 50 pounds doing keto it's gone away.
Same here iam currently 280 pounds at 6foot 6 height and my palpitations and flutters are of the chart and on top of it nasty chest pains.I'm scared of the worst ♥ attack.😞
Great video. I was diagnosed with costochondritis a year ago. I was only 31, very fit, but chest pain wouldn't go away. Woke me up one night, didn't hesitate, went to the ER and all my heart tests were normal. Turned out it was tissue related that was causing the deep pain. Costochondritis is an inflammation of tissues around your ribs and can be a deep squeezing pain. I was one of many the ER doc had seen in his time there; young guys with this condition. Don't wait around folks, get your chest pain checked out if it is bothering you!
I'm so glad you uploaded this video. I finally got an appointment with my primary care doctor this Thursday for prolonged shoulder pain, it's been almost 2 years, recently my left arm becomes so weak, and pain gets worse at night and at rest. I hope he'll check out my cardiac health. My orthopedist gave up coz he can't find what's wrong with me knowing my MRI and EMG are normal. I started to remember subtle signs like shortness of breath, chest tightness while making the bed...and a few other things I grew out of. I don't want to think I'm overreacting, so I forgot about those little symptoms... I appreciate your video and the way you explained to us, even though it is still scary! Thank you Dr. Berry 😄👍
When I had my heart attack, I had it all weekend with chest pain. Then it got worse. I'm lucky to be here because I had a heart attack with 100 percent blockage in my right artery with a clot. The doctor said that I was lucky to be alive and he didn't know how I was still alive.
Being a former athlete I have multiple torso and upper limb pains, some attributed to disc problems, degenaration of soft tissues, and scar tissue. However, there is a family history of stroke on paternal side and my Homocysteine levels were first measured at 36, then brought down by vitamins B 6/9/12 to a level around 15. It definitely is a hard decision to make for former athletes who played contact sports. I have had 40+ episodes of syncope secondary to violent cough (when I had pertussis especially) and level 10 cramping pain in my bowels. I'm guessing I've had at least 8 concussions in my life between sports and syncope falls. I have multiple other diagnoses including moderate hypertension and stage 3 CKD. I have been on CPAP machine for 2 years and still have SOB upon awakening. My apnea likely goes back 15 years and I'm not sure how much damage that did. I also have had a 15 year or so period of being in daily fight or flight mode and sleeping only about 5 hours each night until CPAP started. Should I be alive? Haha
Great video Dr. Berry! For years i suffered with bad reflux; which on 2 different occasions led me to the ER thinking I was having a cardiac event. I discovered keto a little over a year ago and I haven't had any of those frightening episodes since. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us.
Thank you so much for this information. I have been to the Emergency Room twice and also kept in hospital. I had heavy chest pains, pain in upper shoulders, sweating and feet swelling, every time I was told. I thing wrong. All tests to check my Lungs, Heart, blood clots, gall bladder and many more. Even the one where they shout die into your body. I still have it and it’s really hard to live with. 3 weeks ago my new Dr told me I am pre-diabetic so watch out. I go back on May 22nd 2020. But after watching this, I truly hope it’s from diabetes symptoms and I can get help from my Dr how to live with it
I appreciate this video cuz that makes people who have thought processing of paranoia or hypochondria a good feeling about not really worrying about chest pains because worrying makes chest pains worse
These are the things I've learned (from reading and from my doc & cardiologist) in order to distinguish panic attacks from potentially real threats. It sucks, but it's not so bad now that I can tell the difference. I've ended up in the ER with panic attacks a few times over the years though, because they felt different from my normal attacks.
Thank you so much for this video. I went to the doctor in my 20s with piercing "from here to there" chest pains about a hand-width below my left collarbone, convinced I was having heart attack. Fortunately, the doctor knew better and was able to convince me (after testing) that particular pain was not heart-related. I continued to have these pains well into my early 50's and after menopause they went away -- hmmm, interesting -- no-one could say why. I'm glad not to experience these anymore, and also glad it wasn't a heart attack and that I had a doctor who gave me the appropriate tests and then showed me it wasn't all that. One ECG prevented any number of A&E visits and a good solid explanation of the various types of chest pains went a long way to helping me not have lots of anxiety about these pains. Good video, well-explained. Thanks again, Dr. Ken!
I ignored chest pain for a year or so, then wham, at 36, had a heart attack. It will be 2 years on June 4th. I thankfully woke up to the classic symptoms. Healthy Keto has completely taken my chest pain away (still had angina after my heart attack). Thank you so much for the knowledge you share and help you provide!
Excellent Video! I had huge anxiety over this and this was super helpful. Went to ER a few times and wish they took the time to explain some of what is covered here. Thank you Dr.
I had left clavicle pain when I had my heart attack... 4 stents later... Pay attention to your body. I'm lucky to be here. Began taking Trulicity & Jardiance and 4 days later had a heart attack and then coded 4 times in the ICU... Thanks Jardiance... :)
I actually had a chest injury at the gym last year. I was overtraining and I felt a little pop in my right pec. It didn't bother me until I continued to bench press. Every rep seemed like someone was standing on my chest so I stopped instantly and went to a doctor. I was fully examined by a cardiologist and ruled out any heart problems. I had to go to physical therapy for a few months. The Pressure radiated into the right side of my neck too. Any chest pain or pressure is something to look into. Like my Dad, who had his chest examined for his chest pain in his 30's. The Doctor said everything's fine, when did you start having these chest pains? My Dad said about a month ago when I got married. The Doctor started laughing and said you're going to be alright.
Emergency when Chest Pain with: 04:00 with shortness of breath. 04:23 with legs or ankles swelling. 04:55 with squeezing pressure. Angina. 06:40 with small exercise getting worse. Angina. 07:25 with deep visceral pain. (not sharp short term shooting pain) 07:40 when diabetic.
Sadly this whole video won't help me. Several years ago I was hospitalized for staph infection in my chest right where the heart is found. I also ended up with a pericardial infection, that is the sack around the heart. Since healing from that infection, I have never ending chest pain. They say I've got some inflammation in the chest wall lining. The pain never stops though it does it get worse at times. I went keto over a year ago thanks to your videos and wonderful book. It has saved my chest pain so much. The doctors say that my nerves are damaged and they told me it would never get any better but instead it would get worse since I'm also a diabetic. Well keto proved themwrong. My fasting numberswent from 300 and 400 to 130 as of this morning with only taking metformin x 2 day and no insulin. I've lost 25 lbs and feel and look better than I have in 20 years. The work that you ans Neisha are doing is needed and we so appreciate it! Keto on!.
i have chest pain daily. assuming it is either costochondritis or something associated with my as yet undiagnosed autoimmune disease. its worse when i'm tired or sick. but pretty much always there. at least i know now what it is and don't go to the ER anymore. i'll probably die of a heart attack because i will assume its one of the aforementioned issues. lol
Thanks for the information. I conclude that my chest pain is nothing to be worried about, having already been to doctor and got all checkups positive and normal.
My symptom at my heart attack at 50 was a burning sensation in my lungs. I thought I had inhaled something nasty at work. That got me 3 stents for my heart. At 62 exerting my upper body muscles caused me to sometimes go to my knees to regain my energy. After running a treadmill stress test my doctors said I was fine. My problem seemed to be with using my upper body, not legs. After insisting, I got a Cardiologist to send me in for an angioplasty. On the operating table they gave up and transferred me to a different hospital for a triple bypass. That was at age 62. If you feel badly, don't be convinced when your Doctor says that you are fine. Keep plugging away until you find out what is really wrong. Be your own health care advocate. I am almost 65 now and about 9 months ago I went Keto and lost 20+ pounds. I feel great and even well enough to use a treadmill at the gym. I believe my heart is getting stronger as with the same machine settings my heart rate is dropping. Without a doubt my largest improvement in my health was when I went on the Keto diet.
My 51 year old cousin passed away last week from a heart attack. She had Covid as well and was experiencing heartburn, her husband helped her to the bathroom but he noticed her eyes were extremely glassy and he called the paramedics but by the time they got to their house and to the hospital, they couldn't save her. RIP Sherry Dawn
Great information, I've worked 8yrs in the ER and 19yrs in Cardiology so I deal with this on a daily bases. Looking forward to more helpful health tips.
What an excellent video. I have had a number of heart attacks and ended up having heart surgery, All my attacks have been "silent" with no chest pain at all but pronounced pain at the base of my spine, in my left arm and a sever ache in my jaw on the left side. I am a newly diagnosed diabetic and have developed fibromyalgia which presents itself as constant pain in my left arm and lower back as well as other places. This feels almost identical to my past heart attacks. I have been to the ER a couple of times which gladly have turned out to be false alarms after blood tests. I feel bad going to see them at the hospital but they have always been great with me. Don't be brave if you are at all worried, go get checked out to be safe.
Hi ❤️🙏 Will you you pray for me please? I've been having chest pain, pressure and bubbling in my chest and heart area for 2 weeks now. It's scaring me so bad that I'm losing sleep. God bless you🙏
Thanks for the info! Just received your book and I'm on chapter 7 - it is a great read! (so far no typos ;) ) Your writing style is as engaging as your vlogs; I appreciate the time and effort you put into educating us laypeople, you've made my keto journey more like a dietary adventure …. thanks for that!
Wonderful information. So much better than trying to Google machine your symptoms. 😆 I typically have sharp, sometimes dull pains in shoulders, chest on one side or the other and even my arm...90% of the time it's digestion related, gas related. I'd learned about referred pain at 30-something after a hysterectomy where they "inflated" me with air to get to where they needed. That air stayed with me for a good month and was the majority of my pain...to the point of sobbing. Often the pain was in my shoulders which I'd thought was odd but, the Dr explained that it was referred pain from the trapped air that hadn't absolved yet. Was prescribed massive opiates, which I do not condone for much but it was literally the only relief. The only pain I worry about now is the occasional dull, almost burning pain I can get in my right arm, usually several inches below my underarm. Anyone know what that's from? Stays for quite the while, might go away for a few but comes back doing so back n forth for a couple hours each "event". 🤔 Usually, if not solely, my right arm. -My father-in-law died a few days after a heart attack he never knew he'd had because he was so riddled with so much pain anyway, definitely slowly dying from certain ailments that had caught up to him through lifestyle. His heart was literally trying to heal itself... but failed. Definitely go in every single time you're not sure. Pretty please. Don't give a fuck about what you look like or staff might think. They chose that job. And ALWAYS ask as many questions as you've got. Don't settle for bandades. You deserve to understand what your body is doing and they're paid to know, paid to explain and in a way you can understand. They're all we have and since they HATE when we Google anything, ask away until you're satisfied.
I started Keto this week and I'm filling a small pressure on the heart today, as if it were struggling pumping the blood. I'm been going to the gym the whole year and lost 33 pounds months ago. I just ran around my house full speed (way faster that I've been able in previous years), I stopped when I wanted and I got the normal elevated pulse and a little short of breath that fade away in a couple of minutes but no heart pains. I think I'll go to the ER just to make sure.
Thank you sooooo much Dr. Berry!! I have Dextrocardia and so I’m ALWAYS stressing when I feel even the slightest pain in the chest. This video really gave me a lot of relief.
those who are here with a chest pain watching this video like me, May God Bless You , DO NOT WORRY, consult a doctor as early as possible and you will be safe. Have a nice day.
Why do I have to get chest pain right in the middle of a global pandemic? Knowing that there's a chance of picking up Coronavirus by doing the right thing and going to the hospital?
@@makylagomez7144 Thanks for asking. I had a paramedic come to the house and perform an ecg which tested clear. Big relief. Still got the chest pain and it seems that I'm having some good days then the odd bad day. So I haven't been to the hospital, but I'm still here - and hopefully will remain for my boy.
Yes same! It’s been this way all night and it hasn’t gone away Im just hoping I have pulled some muscles or something because yeah I feel you, it’s also hard to breathe aye! Ahh
Robert C Lynch me too! i started having this sharp chest pain, so i went to a small urgent care er. they took ekgs and x-rays. when i got there my heart rate went up to 176 so they were focused on that more. did everything including blood work and said everything was normal. i kept having the pain for two more days and got worried it might be a blood clot so i went to the er. turns out i have early pneumonia! i got the tachycardia again so now i’m still worried because i feel like something is wrong with my heart! best of luck to you! let me know if anything changes and i will be praying! i know how scary it is!
I was just diagnosed with 2 hypertension at 33 with no hereditary history of it HBP and was just prescribed amlodipine. Every little ache and twinge I get in my chest I'm like oh gosh it's all over for me! This video helped ease my fears a bit so I thank you!
Thank you so much for taking your time to put this valuable information out on you tube, for all of us. I appreciate you so much . God bless you and thank you again
Thanks Doctor for the informative video.. I have been dealing with center chest pain for over 2 years now.. Most recent visit to ER was just the beginning of this month with severe chest pain in the center of chest whenever I walk fast, had an EKG, chest x-ray, troponin blood test done alone with a D-dimer test and they found absolutely nothing.. Just went to the park with my sister and her husband a few days ago and was unable to complete the hike due to this center chest pain, it stops as soon as i rest a few minutes, sometimes it does not hurt at all, but when it does it is pretty bad... I am at a loss as to what it could be when all tests are normal.. I did have a running stress test last year and that was perfect, I don't get it.. Just my story... but again, thanks for the video, it was very educational.. Have a beautiful day....
Thank you for sharing this. I'm having the same symptoms above and they are making me really anxious. I have been to every ER, and they all dismiss it as stress. Its so painful and im getting so bothered.I am really seeking help out there could someone have an answer to this please?
@@Midlife_Manical_Mayhem No since the whole obama care thing dr hopping and bankruptcy ever 7 years is my new health insurance. Some people shop doctors for pain pills, I shop them to find one I don't owe money to yet.
I still can’t get over the fact you have to pay for your health in America. Unbelievable. If you’re broke and have no insurance, would they watch you die?
Le Val no they have to give you life saving treatment at the hospital whether you can afford it or not. Most broke people get free healthcare as part of there government Benefits. Rich people can afford it. The middle class that has health insurance that doesn’t pay for very much so they are the hardest hit by it. Our prescriptions and such can be hundreds a month. When I was still diabetic I had to pay about $400 a month for all my prescriptions and I had what was considered good insurance. There is no one to help you with that cost.
This last week I had increased heart rate, twice. It disrupted my breathing and I coughed a bit to catch my breath. I watched what I was doing/eating and how I felt instead of going to the doctor. I was able to draw a correlation between having eaten cacao/chocolate and the increased heat rate. Cacao/chocolate contains theobromine, this raises the heart rate and I appear to be sensitive to it. Lucky for me it wasn't a serious problem. Sadly I need to quit eating cacao/chocolate. 😥 I'm nearly done mourning all the foods I can't eat, I just wish the list would stop getting bigger. 😕
It's not about being embarrassed or inconveniencing doctors. Some months ago I went to the er because the lower left side of my back was aching. I left being charged 900 bucks for a prescription of ibuprofen and a cat scan. I'm terrified to find out how much I'll get charged to check my heart
Yeah I have bad anxiety so it's hard to differentiate between the two but I assume mine is from lifting heavyweight's. I'd like to think given I can run 5k in 15 minutes it's nothing serious
I had that same feeling of pressure feeling, short of breath I went to the emergency room They did a blood test, ECG, all fine. I was having anxiety prior and I think that was a panic attack. That's what they said. It's really hard to distinguish an anxiety/panic attack from an agnia or heart attack. I felt like the for days dr said all fine and now it's gone
Did it happend near the heart because when i took a deep breath i felt my heart like have a tightness or a sharpness near or on my heart but i also have anxiety but idk if it was a anxiety panic attack

Now I’ve learned some techniques and now I can break an episode almost on the spot, but it is still scary and sometimes I still think it’s my heart.
what are your techniques?
Three years ago I had tightness in my jaw and neck and it was a heart attack. Since then I quit smoking and eat keto and I'm doing great, much healthier than the past 10-15 years. Your videos are great information! 😊

Hello friend,what was the outcome?
Haha

God bless you. I'm starting my keto journey today.
How are you doing now?
Excellent Video! I had huge anxiety over this and this was super helpful. Went to ER a few times and wish they took the time to explain some of what is covered here. Thank you Dr.
I had left clavicle pain when I had my heart attack... 4 stents later... Pay attention to your body. I'm lucky to be here. Began taking Trulicity & Jardiance and 4 days later had a heart attack and then coded 4 times in the ICU... Thanks Jardiance... :)
I hope you are ok Jenn

It would certainly make things more simple

Feels slight chest pain

I get chest pain often... was in emergency too - this video helped me to understand a lot. Thanks.
Best chest pain video on RUclips!
Same thing happened to me in 2011.since then same pain continues in right side chest and I can't sleep right side.

04:23 with legs or ankles swelling.
04:55 with squeezing pressure. Angina.

Keto on!.
i have chest pain daily. assuming it is either costochondritis or something associated with my as yet undiagnosed autoimmune disease. its worse when i'm tired or sick. but pretty much always there. at least i know now what it is and don't go to the ER anymore. i'll probably die of a heart attack because i will assume its one of the aforementioned issues. lol
You need to take methylated B12 because nueropathy is a side effect of metformin.
I’m having extreme chest pain right now so if you can please get to the point quickly, that’d be great!
@@medicropper if ur having chest pain go to the er
I had chest pain . It wasn't heartburn. I prayed over it in Jesus name and was gone. ;) Praise God for all your healings .

As a nurse I have also seen tooth aches, jaw pain, and neck pain turn out to be heart issues. The nose to navel saying is great advice! 🙌😊
I hate when i search something on Google because its also something like heart attack or something
Because it’s in the middle of the night and I hope I can survive these 11 minutes before embarrassing myself at the ER
Thank you for the excellent information. My only worry going to the emergency room is the bill 😨
Doc please do a follow up video on what supplements are good for your heart. Thanks!
Yes, please!!
CoQ10
Aspirin 81 mg
Niacin 500mg
eritreasunshine Turin , Hawthorn.
MCT oil?
Omega 3, COQ10, magnesium. I 've read be careful with niacin. Never take every day hard on your liver. Can cause flushing, 50 mg not 500 mg.
Thank you sooooo much Dr. Berry!! I have Dextrocardia and so I’m ALWAYS stressing when I feel even the slightest pain in the chest. This video really gave me a lot of relief.

Why do I have to get chest pain right in the middle of a global pandemic? Knowing that there's a chance of picking up Coronavirus by doing the right thing and going to the hospital?
did you end up going?

Have you been checked for hyental hernia or gallbladder problems.
Thank you for sharing this. I'm having the same symptoms above and they are making me really anxious. I have been to every ER, and they all dismiss it as stress. Its so painful and im getting so bothered.I am really seeking help out there could someone have an answer to this please?
It sucks how similar an anxiety attack is to a heart attack
Didnt have chest pain until this video came on 😂 the brains powerful y’all.

I'm nearly done mourning all the foods I can't eat, I just wish the list would stop getting bigger. 😕
It's not about being embarrassed or inconveniencing doctors. Some months ago I went to the er because the lower left side of my back was aching. I left being charged 900 bucks for a prescription of ibuprofen and a cat scan. I'm terrified to find out how much I'll get charged to check my heart
i have a women's heart health check tomorrow for $75. being it's silent killer for women. search heart health in your area.
This is GOLD.
Very very helpful video, thank you very much for taking the time to post this doc!
Excellent tips, thank you!
Anxiety can cause similar symptoms.
Absolutely right. Sometimes you can't tell the difference between the 2 without medical testing.
Me too! It feels so real.

Which kind of magnesium do you take?
Thinks this is my problem
