I had not heard this song since I was just a young girl. There is a commercial on right now playing this song. When I was 4 I had my own Little yellow record player, i had this 45. My young mind just thought of a big rock candy mountain. And, we also had a train track right down our street. The hobos rode the tracks all the time. My grandmother was one of the homes that fed these men. I am 69 now!
My grandpa would play this on his banjo and we'd sing it together. Thank you for bringing those memories back to me today 🧡 I love this song and you nailed it!
What a cool song. Welcome back Fret killer. I missed your videos. I see you have a different guitar. A cool song. I think I have heard that before. A thumbs up for you. I hope you will share more videos. Thanks
Hello from France ! Bienheureux de voir une nouvelle video de vous. Ce n'est pas celle que je prefere, mais c'est toujours un plaisir de vous entendre. Amicalement - Francois
Yay! So glad to see a new song =) Definitely sounds like a hobo heaven. Hell, the streams of alcohol would be close enough to heaven for me too. Cheers!
Great to hear from you again FK! You are much beloved :-) I hear 2 banjos, a guitar, a bass and a mandolin. Is that close? I've done a lot of hoboing, I shall add this to my busking rep.
Great Stuff , I been watching you for years. I f there actually was a god I could understand why he/she/it would hide. I wouldnt wanna be pestered either. I dont care who you are, Just keep posting.
Hah, a multitrack upload! So cool, thank you, Sir. Now let me guess... an electric guitar (bass?), a banjo, a mandolin, an acoustic guitar, and vocal track. Glad to see you again. Keep it up and have a nice week yet! Zs
Bass Line, Mandolin, Banjo, Acoustic Guitar(the one in your hands) Rather hard to tell but it may be Electric Guitar instead of the Banjo...must be both!
Great version
