Scratches on big transparent parts like canopies and cockpits IS a big deal and it's a damn shame Lego doesn't always put them in protective bag. The set is really great though.
I pray they sell this set out and that lego takes note of the price point and purchase frequency as a result. That set looks and feels like its 30$ worth!
Something I'd like to see is a sort of "capital" or command ship in the likes of the space base, command rover or satellite. All of those are good, but I just don't think there's anyway the astronauts traveled from earth or wherever in a couple of small space ships, especially with all the materials and equipment they have
I can imagine that the Aliens will get their focus in the next Spacewave. And i would love to see the aliens as grown up tentacle creatures with good articulation.
I like that the city space sets have 3 different aliens with the same faces but different bodies. This makes them look like the same species but diverse.
This set has such a good price, I woulda thought it was rice! That’s nice, if only I could spend that much on my ice! Lego set so fire, woulda thought ole Kirk burned rubber off my tire! And bricks by mind, don’t forget your videos inspire! I love you bro, please take more time before you retire!
This is the second or third best set of the wave (the $20 Ship is clearly the best, no stickers, a lot of pieces and perfect build - 2nd is the small Rover for $30). This isn't as good looking as the other 2 sets, BUT it's exactly what the main big base needed. A few of these to have some domes and habitats, to make the big base feel more lived in. Also the dome pieces in such a small set
The dream character body being used for one of the tiny aliens is interesting. I know they are aware of those creatures. The launch base had an image of one making a sub sandwich. I think it was supposed to be an in-universe ad. My guess is this is probably an alien they managed to befriend and train. They are probably like an octopus so it can use it's body to fill out and control that tiny suit. But I seriously love this wave. I got the Interstellar ship, Asteroid Discovery, Mining Mech, and the polybag. That is more sets for any theme I have gotten since I was a kid.
From what is seen, cosmonauts is green suits are supposed to be scientists, so I imagine he's renowned in his field, and discoveries being made are so groundbreaking that the station can benefint from their presence (or he had accident on rhe station and was dedicated to finish the reaserch) much storyytelling done with simple acxesory
I guess the only real way to protect the large dome window pieces from getting scratched in transit inside their own packaging would be to add an extra layer of packaging to shield them. Which definitely WOULD drive up the price.
Idk why it's like this? Like we get a whole mech, they are able of building exo skeletons. Yes, he wouldn't be able to fit in smaller spaces but walking??
Annoyingly the price is £35 in the UK. It’s not a huge deal but it’s weird that whenever the US price is great, the UK price copies the number even though it should convert to a lower price. I really like how this set feels so complete.
Not a tree in the middle. Its clearly a rock structure with semi sentient venus fly trap esk organisms living off the energy present in the five point crystal. I think the style is inspired by old first generation star trek alien planets. Just look at the colours. Thats why this all works the style feels like weve unconsciously seen it somewhere before and its sort of familiar.
Lego is an expensive hobby, deal with it or find something else. They will be successful with or without you, so by that very nature I would say their prices are fine.
I mean its actually a really good especially if your considering that it would usually be the price is around 10% of the piece count and now a days its a lot higher this way below even for the standard in the past

Problem: 1. Lego Space has to be blue and gray, pretty much. If it's not blue+gray, it had better be a GREAT SET! 2. This is not a great set. It is kinda fugly. 3. Exactly. I definitely will start buying Lego this year. I skipped 2020-2022 because they just didn’t justify.
It would be nice to have modern space ships for the aliens as well as more sets that focus more on the alien lifestyle in this wave
I'd love a castle space cross over showing an alien medieval age
@@n_ex13 that’ll be interesting 🤔 to say the least and it can work

Wish it contained a spare connection hall wall. Then I could buy 2 and connect that as 2 teams racing to discover the planet secret
