When you started doing the math for the angles of the plywood rack my mind immediately said "please don't tell me these guys have also an imperial system equivalent for angles". After when you said "substract 27 from 90" the level of relief was immense. I'm about to start my house build and your videos have been an important source for the how to (even if i don't live in te US). Thanks
This build series is so cool..I wish RUclips was around when my old ass was growing up
Why isn’t the next series started yet? I was already going into withdrawals before this one ended!! Keep up the good honest work brother!!
Dope man. I have to start off building my own homes myself. Definitely will prefer spec building for the most part. I am not the type that speeds through a home. My mind gets caught in the details at moments. Great video Matt 🔨.
Finishing my first year of carpentry school and have a few years of work experience would love and come and labour/learn from you guys even if it’s free labour would just love be on the same site
Love your videos man I’ve learned a lot from just watching. And it helped me at my new job 1luv brotha
So good, cheers Matt and Co x
Matt, you need to build a reusable ice pack that can be wrapped around your GoPro to keep it cooler.
Nice work ma dawg
at 4:13 I thought that hat was a snake for a second.
It's a great idea but pink shag 😊 I'm curious it had to be a pain in the arse to get this video done thanks Matt on long trusses I've always built a mud point temp wall or built a permanent one that stayed it is much easier to get around and run Baker scaffolding in open areas. Also run my facia just like that but I didn't always clamp it looking back I should've
i’m spec building soon (buying land in cash and materials in cash so i dont care about interest rates) PLEASE MAKE VIDEOS SHOWCASING HOW YOU DO IT SO I CAN LEARN

by the way matt there is no link in description
Do you think air nailers work better than battery powered ones or about the same?
Would be awesome if you could partner with someone greenish but familiar in building as a kind of apprentice. Not quite acting as a GC or project manager but at least being a part of everything and tracking it
I’m a masonry contractor I’d love to work on your homes!
Surprised to see u using dewalt circ saw
I believe he is sponsored by Dewalt now.
Do you prefer the makita circular saw over the skil circular saw?
Any chance of getting a waterfront lot? Almost impossible to lose money on waterfront.
Don’t you need to be licensed in those fields? To perform them? Electric and plumbing
They will most likely be subbed out.
I don't know how you can do that all day long. And sometimes in that crazy heat. Edit... I don't want to build a house. Too many headaches. Subs don't show up. Errors that are caught too late and cost time and money. Inspection fails for minor things that were code just 6 years ago. Too much stress for this old guy.
Hi, did you recieve my Email? If not, it might be in your spam folder, because I attached some images. If yes, but you are uninterested, just answer with a formless "no". Much appreciated.
No offense but the fascia looks like shit. Thats the trim of the house...Here in the midwest we wrap it with aluminum which looks nice and clean..Maybe they dont do that everywhere. Great video.
