I am back to this AMV after 7 years, and despite a lot of great AMV's out there, this one is still a legendary and unique in terms of the anime itself. Animes like this don't exist much. Baki the grappler, Hajime no Ippo, to name a few.... Instead we are flooded with Lolitas
this anime manga series would have been so much popular if it was released around this era instead of the mid 2000 era. a lot of mma in it. really great manga series, a lot of fighting and actual martial art styles.

Exactly, every fighting manga/anime has to be so fucking extra with characters smashing cars in half and shit while koukou tekken den tough is just straight up raw fighting. It doesn't need all that extra bullshit because the fights are already good enough as is.
baki the grappler is the reason this anime was cut short and although i like baki mostly due to the monster charachter this anime is superior in terms of relative realism and fighting techniques

It seems like this video is already 9 years old. One of my favourite amvs. I wish they would have made an anime instead of an OVA. I think it might be the best martial arts series I am yet to see and I'm a huge Baki fan.

The anime is called Shootfighter Tekken (if you're referring to the video), and the manga it was based off of is Koukou Tekkenden Tough. There was a sequel manga simply called Tough where the main character is older. Good if you like crazy street fights and martial arts.
I think this guy should have a crossover with Hanma Baki from "Grappler Baki" sometime.. it would be a hell of a crazy match!! Both are just too fucking dare!!

The most realistic mangas and animes of martial arts for me are Baki, Garouden,tough(shootfighter tekken) and.... kenichi I think but this like friendly and soofter than the others.
initially was realistic and they even explained the moves lol. When it was hitting the OVA parts that was all superhuman stuff lol. But still fun to watch. XD
