Last night, I randomly caught "A Bronx Tale" on TV (classic move, right?), and man, I always enjoy your acting, especially in that flick (and, let's be real, in everything else too). So, down the rabbit hole I went, watching short clips from the movie, and guess what? I stumbled upon your channel. Score! I totally hear you, I always keep my phone in my pocket if I'm eating with someone else, put my phone aside if I'm having a conversation with someone etc. I do love my phone but being respectful comes first lol
Many times, depending on subject, I show my boys Mr. Palminteri's show (Mr Franzese as well.).
I'm an older dad at 60 with 17 and 15 year olds.
Fortunately, they think it's cool I know about the 'older' times.
They hold open doors, acknowledge first responders, etc.

See you Feb 9 WPB! We were at the Kravis this past Sat to enjoy Puccini’s Tosca. Jupiter resident here. Originally from Jericho LI, grandparents had businesses in the Bronx. Great episode. at the moment I’m on the couch in front of the TV eating a bowl of pasta watching your show with a headset, wife next to me on her phone, daughter 13 yrs old eating at the kitchen countertop on her phone. Other daughter 11 yrs old at dance class. it’s total loss of synchronicity. Thankfully we also have many times we unplug, but it’s sometimes bizarro world trying to communicate. On the Waterfront is my fav movie also. Love Big Time Tommy. Hung out with him and his buddies a few months ago at the Italian Festival in Jupiter. My stepdad for 37 years is Italian from Mill Basin originally. ciao ciao

At dinner...we ate as a family. My wife and i had the children put phones in a basket away from the table. They are now in their 30s...whether at home or restaurant, all phones are nowhere to be found and conversations happen.
I was told 10 minutes of reading a book per day is 3 books a month.

These phones can be addicting. What if phone wasnt there to entertain. Theres a wealth of info at ones fingertips. It can be a bridge otherwise impossible. It has been effective in creating seperation, even when were next to each other. Yet can be present with other side of world. Priorities i guess, grass isnt greener
You are so right about families sitting at the table together at dinner time. Everyone should sit at the dinner table as much as they can .

i prefer to READ while in the Hot tub at the Y. get thru a lot of reading while taking a Hot one at the Y, after a workout of course there is a lot of evidence of most americans not reading. few read the Constitution, let alone the words of their own family members (letters). //
12 minute mark if i were an actor and read books i would assume my place in the Book and take on a speaking role and speak the Lines like as if i were being Trained to be Played but i am not an actor, so when i read i just enjoy the words as they be
27 minute mark My Trade Kind of demands i take most of my meetings in person.
