Thanks for posting this clip. I have an FR8X it is a fantastic instrument, but the manual is not the best for learning how to use the instrument. Your clip is clear and informative. I learned alot. Thanks - I appreciate that you made this.

Good job Rob. The FR-8X comes with a hugh learning curve and I have to compliment you on your video. This is an amazing accordion and it's hard to believe that your video just scratches the surface on the FR-8X vast abilities but yours is an important video for beginners and mastering this instrument should come with a diploma.

These accordions have been out since 2012-13. I don’t understand why the price has not been lowered since its release. They came out with the retail price of $5500-$6000, and their still asking the same price 7-8 years later, what gives.

I own a fr8x accordeon, but the bellows are very hard when i turn on the "dinamic Bellows Behavior" option, when i go to "14. system" i change the options but i can't get this soft feeling of a real acoustic accordion, the bellows are always hard and i can't play the accordeon properly, any suggestion? thanks a lot!!

Can you educate me on why the digital accordions so expensive (relative to the reeded versions) ? It is a beautiful instrument - albeit this one retails for around $8,000. In terms of the *electronics*, it has similar functionality of my $400 Casio Privia keyboard with 88 weighted keys. I would think the reed style accordions take more time to manufacture. ps I also design digital electronics.

We should keep in mind that a digital accordion cannot imitate the timbre that an acoustic accordion has. In favour of the digital accordeon is the wide range of instruments they have. It's actually more like an electronic organ. I prefer an acoustic accordion.

It 'Is' an accordian!?!🤪 And yes it is a toy, as is my car and my bike and my piano and my pc and my wet suit and my cornet and my.........Now, if you cannot play an accordian you won't play this. Conversly, you need to be able to play an accordian to play this because it works exactly like any acoustic accordian. I know because I have one. In that same context think about all the bands which have digital pianos when out gigging. What's the diff? Other than that there will always be scoffers.
I'm so glad I bought one, it's a brill bit of kit 🕺👍🤪😀

this is not an accordion at all. its a electronic toy. its nice but not for accordion player.

Errol, it is, my friend, a little arrogant to say the Roland is not for accordion player. There are many different levels of player from beginners to high-skilled and there are many different types of music. The Roland is a great instrument , infinitely more versatile than a traditional accordion ... depends on the individual.

It may be electronic but it's a bit of a stretch to consider something that costs $6000 a toy.
