Thanks for all the comments. This is my ride and was wanting to let everybody know we didn't flip the frame. It's a common comment we get on this truck. We mounted all the 61 F600 suspension on top of a 77 F100 short bed frame and moved the cab back 18 inches.
Thanks for the additional info. Great to see you at the Eville Shindig. Your truck is still one of my favorites that I've run across in the past few years of doing this.
im glad i read the comments because ive kept replaying to try and figure out how you it low without any new parts and it didnt looked flipped so i was confused, i may try this idea thankyou for your creativeness
I just purchased this exact truck in the hopes of a unique rat. Is there anyway you could give a description of what was done here. I would never copy exactly, but a good starting point would be awesome.
Only somebody who knows nothing about front end geometry would do this. Reverse KPI creates a huge scrub radius issue, reverse Ackerman creates toe "in" on turns, throw in some negative camber & caster to go with that handling disaster & a bumpsteer drag link from hell to try & control all this shit. Don't do this if you intend to drive your junk & live to talk about it!
Hey nice job! Was wondering what state you are in and what you had to go through to get it titled? Want to do something similar here in missouri with large truck parts and was wondering how hard its gona be to get it titled as something thats not a commercial vehicle. Dont know if i need to find a donor with a title to start with or if a title does not matter? Thanks so much!
Cool ... hey, let's just pull the cab and motor ... flip the chassis upside down and put the cab and motor back. I love how folks make Rat Rods so simple.
Dude love it. I have a 69 F600 that I want to keep as original as possible, but I need it to sit way lower, do you know how I can lower the front? I think the back is easier. It’s the front what is harder. Any insight would be appreciated. I like you rat600:)-
Love it!
Except the seat. My 43yr old back ached just looking at it. Lol
Russell Gist A little padding would be nice! Thanks for checking it out.
The design is beautiful, congratulations for the authenticity!
I LOVE IT!!!!
cool built thumbs up !
Thanks for checking it out.

It's not my build, but I'll try to get in touch with the owner and see if he's willing to help you out. Good luck with your build.
See the owner/builder's comment that he posted today. Good luck with your build.
Sick!
