Thanks, Rachel. I love the tip about opening an incognito window to hide my search bias. I've been working on low content books for a few days and getting swamped with my browse history.
Rachel , you are saying things that you say in your course .Now i am wondering if i should have just watched your youtubevideos 😁but actually your course probably has alot more info
Hello, thank you very much for your videos, I'm from Spain and I've been with this wonderful project for a few months, thanks for putting your videos for translation, I don't know English and that makes my job much easier. Subscribed! THANK YOU
Hi, Rachel, I just want say that your videos are very helpful and inspirational. It is great to see your research process in action. Thank you so much!
Thank you for all the really great information! There is a spreadsheet you use at 26:16. I don't see a link to it in the description. Is it possible to get the link?
Hi Rachel. I'm just getting started with low content self publishing, and your videos are terrific! I will make a journal or two (or three) to get started, as you suggest doing. However, I was wondering if you you could do a video talking about other "different" kinds of low content books. I know there are journals, blank recipe books, logbooks, puzzle books, and calendars, etc. But they're all very saturated on the Amazon marketplace. I'm having trouble coming up with other kinds of low content books, that may be fairly easy to make, but not overly populated on KDP. Am I barking up the wrong tree thinking like this? Or is it better to go with those usual types of low content books, and try to find untapped niches? Thanks a ton!
Thanks Ray! I would say try both approaches. Can you find new angles on different types of low-content books that are already popular? Combine niches? I always try to combine more obscure interests with popular types of books. For example, instead of a generic guest book, try one for weddings, funerals, children's birthday parties, etc. Instead of just a daily planner, maybe a daily planner for busy moms, etc. You will most likely have a few books doing well across many different niches that all add up in the end. So keep trying out new niches!
@@RachelHarrisonSund Okay, I'll do that. It shouldn't be too difficult figuring out different type/niche combos. Then slowly work on finding different types of low content books to create. Thanks!
Hi Rachel. Thank you so much for making these videos and the download guide - they're so useful. I just wondered - do you publish all your journals under the one brand name or do you use a different one for each niche?
Hi Deborah! Thank you! I started in 2017 and after two years I had published 800 books. I think I had set a goal to publish about 40 books per month, so that's the target I always tried to make.
Hi Rachel. Excuse me if it's a silly question. Are these low content books digital products? e.g adult colouring book, lined journal -these seem to be physical products .how do I make these digital? (perhaps I misunderstood something.) Many thanks!
Hi! What I'm talking about are physical paperback books. You could create a PDF to keep them digital if you like, but for selling on Amazon you'll want them to be physical books.
@Z F This is for KDP - Kindle Direct Publishing. The interior and cover you upload is used by Amazon, when someone BUYS your book, to print a physical product and deliver it to the customer. You are not involved in this, the cost for it is deducted from the price, along with other overheads, and the difference is paid to your account as a royalty.
I do not get it. You cannot vary a notebook with lines. Except the cover. I mean, the content (pages) are just white pages with lines. Or am I missing something here?
Hi Loffy, as you say, you can vary the covers of notebooks. Or, you could create notebooks with different line spacing, such as college-ruled, narrow ruled, wide ruled, manuscript ruled, etc.
@@RachelHarrisonSund Thanks! I get it now, there is more variability than I first expected. For example, I discovered bullet journals, which I think are a variation on the theme. Anyhow, very educational --- your videos are much appreciated.
Me picking niches out of a literal hat to combine them: ***Football Sudoku***
The hat has spoken.
I can relate to that: the feeling of having my first LCB published!

THIS WAS EXCELLENT!!!!
Glad you liked it!
Seriously, your delivery and content are stellar. I’ve learned sooooo much and I can’t wait to create some journals.
Hi Rachel. Thank you so much for making these videos and the download guide - they're so useful. I just wondered - do you publish all your journals under the one brand name or do you use a different one for each niche?
Hi AC, I currently have about 5 pen names for different niches.
Does that mean you have to have more than one account? Or do you put a different "author" name for each book you upload?
@@prosepaperco.3444 Would love to know this too!
@@bouncer5338 I've figured it out since then. You can put a different name for the author for each book you upload. So, just one account.
@@prosepaperco.3444 Thank you SO much for taking the time to reply, you are AWESOME!
When uploading multiple books in one niche, how do you autofill in KDP to use the same descriptions and keywords?
Same thought
Hello another question, when you talk about memes ... where are you looking for them?
Mainly on the internet, or just listening to younger people talk.
You have a beautiful smile that makes me enjoy while watching you .

Mindblowing Video. Thanx a lot.
Definitively I dont know how that book has 9816 niches with his search result, but I think I invested in almost 10.000 ideas!
Hi there great content. Can i ask how many LDC/NC books you now have published and when you started? Looking for motivation!
