Super mario x was mario maker long before mario maker existed. Far more features. Far less user friendly.

The more I see this game, the more I fall in love with it. I especially adore the Odyssey theme, it feels nostalgic yet also fresh and new, and it feels like a real adventure. And Boom Boom? Yes please. The Yoshi's Island theme looks awesome too, I love the atmosphere that some of these themes and game styles are able to give off. But the best part of it all, at least for me, has to be the shell powerup, YAS. This definitely still has some work to do, just from the video I can see a few tweaks that should probably be made, but regardless I'm blown away and I'm super excited for it to be released to everyone. Keep up the good work, Darby :) For the next episode, I'd love to see you make a level and discover everything that really is possible in this game, since it clearly seems to offer a lot more than Mario Maker lol. (Also at 9:38, you know what they say, curiosity killed the Baby Mario! And I'm pretty sure 10:42 is why they didn't want to have Mystery Mushroom costumes in game styles outside of SMB lol)

(9:01) I wonder if Yoshi being unable to go up that pipe is intentional or another glitch that needs to be fixed... At least the level maker provided another Yoshi right there to compensate for the one that got left behind.

(16:30) Ooh, 3 fireworks since your timer's ones digit was a 3 when you hit the flagpole (in the original SMB, you get 1, 3, or 6 fireworks if you hit a flagpole with the timer's ones digit at 1, 3, or 6). I'm glad they included that, but unfortunately, they forgot to make each firework worth 500 points like in the original SMB. Maybe they'll fix that in a later version.

There's so many styles it's amazing. I'm actually most impressed by how the developers took the liberties to style everything like enemies and power-ups after each style accordingly.

Mario multiverse is actually an improved mario maker because:
1- You can use costumes in other themes (in SMM is only at smb1 theme)
2- There is more themes
3- You can select which abilities you wanna people to use in your level
4- You can write without coins so you can do a little story for an level
I love those features

The blue shell power up is from new super mario bros on the original nintendo ds and nintendo dsi when sliding as a shell you can take out boos, big boos ,goombas basically almost anything except fire like things it even fully kills skeleton koopas

Yeah, I think it would work better with mario world mechanics. Squashing pirate gooms just ain't right. I hope that they add a Wario Land 1 style though. I do think it is funny that toad was replaced with Waluigi.

its got a ton of tiles and stuff, and an easy to use interface,
and nearly every powerup ever, even the super crown!

I couldn't give you a copy if I wanted to. If you get in the closed beta the maker of the game has to give you an activation code.
