Brilliant the best defense team in the world..watch that defense in 2019 vs england..brilliant!!! The boks just in a different league. They are great🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Not exactly..they were lucky to win by 1 point.if NZ penalty went in its a different story..and also aaron smith disallowed try..the referee is too slow to make the decision after NZ made so many passes before the try..
@@zailansalam6918A win is a win. By 1 point or 100. It don't matter. The SB had the hardest road to the final. Still. Beat the AB. Cry me a river about disallowed try. In all sporting disciplines there are dodgy calls in big games. The point is, SB have won 4 cups having played in only 8 World Cup Tournaments. The ABS have played in 10.
@@zailansalam6918if Aaron Smiths try had been allowed (after a knock on) then the game changes and the Springboks would have gone back on attack. You cannot say the Springboks were lucky after they had the most difficult road to thd final of any world cup team ever. The English fans feel their team was unlucky and deserved to be in the final..on the back of one half decent performance against an exhausted Springboks team. The ABs supporters feel their team deserved to win the final after running rampant through tier 2 opponents, losing to France and putting in a brilliant game against Ireland in the quarters. The Springboks had to face Ireland first which they lost, then Scotland after Tonga and in the quarters they were in arguably the best game ever and beat France in France then has to face England then the All Blacks. Check it out. At the time those teams were all ranked in the top 6! So, the Springboks beat 5 of the top 6 and therefore they are the deserved winners of the world cup because they earned it. They never ever felt entitled to it and that's the big difference between them and the rest.
If Aaron Smith's try had been allowed the Springboks would have just found another way to win they way they did against England and France for that matter. In the moment of truth this is what sets them apart from the rest, they dig deep and find a way to win no matter what.@@Jay-Leigh863
Rugby, like a lot of team sports, is equally about attack and defense. ABs mastered attack over the years *World Cheers* Boks mastered defense *World Boos*. Boks catch the salty tears in their fourth World Cup.
The Springboks can also play the running game but there is a time and place for that. The best teams are able to adapt to the opposition and this is why the Boks are world champions. They know ABs like to run the ball so they adapt their game to match / nullify the opponent.
I know this is about the defence of the Boks, but I was counting the times the ABs were coming in from the side, more than 12 times, holding on to players, over 12 times, playing way over the ball and obstruction, over 10 times. Have the rules changed again or am I just over sensitive.
Nope, for some reason, a different set of rules exist for the ABs. Richie McCaw was almost never penalised for this. Refs ignored all his infringements, fearing the NZ rugby public's visceral response whenever it came to their darling McCaw.
@@cgfnortje100% 🔥 Now the calls are going against the ABs for these infringements and they crying rivers of tears like their fanbase. The WC final is weeks over and the cnuts here in NZ are still crying crocodile tears 😂
Yes, I don't know why - but also in the LO's the AB's encroach on the middle line between the teams and then also engage early as a pod to stop the maul even before we have caught the throw in - both are penalty offences - interestingly in our pool match against Ireland in the WC coming in from the wrong side and sealing off and collapsing the maul and knees on the ground in scrum time someone counted like 24 Irish offences -
This was MM 50th test and official man of the match! We started Dweba the next week and lost!! A win for SA would have seen Foster sacked. Joseph Dweba is lazy, very lazy!!!!
Everyone thinks the Springboks are all about physicality....but nobody remembers their murderous defence!
Every AB player that day sure does.
Remember the flying headbutt
It's the physicality paired with the murderous defense that shuts you down over and over again
Yeah your rush defence is ruining attacking play. It should be banned
@@russellbrodie9149 haha. Nice one. You should quit and watch rugby league instead.
It is like watching target practice. For years we were forced to defend and now it is our strength!

I'm watching this after we won world cup. I cannot imagine how it could've been if Malcom and Lukhanyo Am were fit😢
Eish man
Wow!, these Boks guys are real best players in the world...the whole world fears them due to their unlimited tricks and ways of breaking through
This is why they the world's best team ever.

They tried their 1st half fast Mt Pleasant pace, but the Boks had learnt and were wise to it and tackled them into smithereens!

Best defense in the world, springboks are lethal in defense.
Spartan defence from the Boks
And Willie le Roux scored at the death to make it 26 to 10. What a performance by the Boks!
Afrika strong 💪🏾
We gonna miss Lukhanyo Am and Malcolm Marx
Imagine losing the best centre and hooker in the world and still not even miss them and still win a world cup . Unbelievable depth .
Best team ever to play the game!
absolute power from SBs...brutal...hw do they keep that up...

Nienaber the architect of this brilliance
AB’ old McCaw tactics: side entries, not rolling away after the tackle.
Fantastic video. Thanks for posting!!!!!
Once you think you cannot anymore, you are too tired, then you have only used 5٪ of your fitness level.
Yes! As Eben said in the change rooms if you feel tired you f@cking get up and go again!
Damn this is good
Wow, this is an amazing video
All blacks’ attack is immaculate and Springboks’ defence is meticulous!
When the 🌊 keeps on coming but trying to move forward with no progress

But is the South African Rugby defence line off side half the time ? If they are , they are cheating
I think by now one of the 100 ref's would have blown us had we been offside
Which game was this?
06 Aug 2022 Mbombela sprngboks won 26-10
Pretty easy to defend against 14 players
If you miss kicks you lose games
You end up playing with 14 men because you can't handle the pressure and resort to ill discipline
this is not the final, it's another game
Do not show old games you lost against Ireland show that
this was made long before the Ireland game
Ireland game don't matter, we won the world cup hater.
And Ireland lost the world cup. Which one is great?
Yes,we need to see Boks missed kicks which led to Pollard playing and winning the RWC,..again,..back to back,..for the fourth time.😉
