It's thoughtless nonsense. You can't compare the stats of players from different sports. It's impossible. It's not even possible to compare the stats of an NFL QB to an NFL NT. That's not even to mention the fact that Brady is somehow automatically assumed to be the best player of his sport across all positions, when he's not even the best player at his position in his era.

You have to consider the nature of each sport in this conversation. The NBA naturally leans toward being a superstar league where one player can really carry a team. The NFL is more team oriented where team success is more dependent on multiple individual effort. That being said, the fact that Brady has dominated for so long in a sport that naturally favors team effort makes his performance more outstanding than Jordan's.
That just means Brady needed (and had) a lot more help. Every playoff series Jordan ever competed in, he was without question the best player on the floor. The same can't be said for Brady.

Brady is in his 20th year and just surpassed him in rings but all other accolades are behind MJ. Brady has all time rankings which is longevity based. If titles are what put Brady ahead I will leave with this. The hardest thing to do in sports is repeat MJ had two 3peats and retired. I saw both play in their prime, and it is not even close. You never questioned if Jordan's team was going to win in the 90s... with Lebron all you have is questions.
You also never questioned if Jordan would pass the buck in the biggest moment. I don't care if LeBron wins 8 rings and 7 MVPs, the George Hill pass ended his goat case.
@@TGTK-FreeSpeech- Interesting. I agree with the difficulty in comparison, which may dq the across sports argument. However, I am interested in you thought on who is better than Brady in his era, and why?
@@thsu8 Well said. But to be fair, in some of the biggest games, I do recall Steve Kerr and John Paxson getting the ball when a 3 was needed in the final moments.
Babe Ruth

That just means Brady needed (and had) a lot more help. Every playoff series Jordan ever competed in, he was without question the best player on the floor. The same can't be said for Brady.
@@mtmd1042 yes it can a lot of those superbowls wouldn’t be won without Brady’s brains and arm and Brady won with nobody’s Michael had to have one of the best defenders and one of the best rebounders ever to win he couldn’t carry a bunch of nobody’s like Brady
Its crazy yhwir number are 12..23..sequential
Brady and its not even close.
Let me go buy a pair a Brady’s.
Brady
Obviously
It's Gordie Howe
Brady. Not even close.
One plays catch and the other puts a ball in a basket, don't overdo IT!
Wayne Gretsky
Picking Jordan, but they play different sports with different standards that determine GOAT status in that sport.
If mj was still playing in the nba today he would average 50 points in 82 games
Both are pretty equal, but Brady did it for 7 years more, so I'll probably go with Brady. Both are team games, so the team matters as well, so there will always be counter-arguments.
Its Jordan. MJ had all has accomplishments in 13 years (5 mvp, 6 titles, 6 finals mvp, DPOY, 10x scoring champion, 2x dunk champ, 3x all star mvp, highest scoring avg in nba history, highest ppg in playoffs, etc) with the bulls. Brady is in his 20th year and just surpassed him in rings but all other accolades are behind MJ. Brady has all time rankings which is longevity based. If titles are what put Brady ahead I will leave with this. The hardest thing to do in sports is repeat MJ had two 3peats and retired. Was the best and most electric player in all of sports when he played. If i had my choice its MJ all day. At his best MJ is the greatest team athlete in history. There is a reason they say you are the Jordan of (you name the occupation)! Goat of Goats MJ!
winning in the nfl is harder than the NBA, if the NBA had "one and done" games then this wouldnt even be a thing. Also lets not forget Jordan was a #3 pick, meaning he came into the league as dominant. Brady was like the 800th player taking and didnt start for 2 years
@@TheGhostofMrArthurs No NFL playoff game is nearly as difficult as winning a series against the '90's Bulls, or the KD Warriors. Because that's essentially impossible.
@@mtmd1042 false, the Raptors beat the kd warriors, because he got hurt and couldnt play. If you lose a game here and there you got plenty of chances to get back. Football you have one shot, that's it
@@TheGhostofMrArthurs False - you can't call it the "KD Warriors" if Durant played one quarter of one game. And yeah, NFL playoff wins involve far more luck, which cuts both ways. As in Brady was the beneficiary of luck multiple times. Whereas there was no luck with Michael Jordan - he was simply the best, period.
@@mtmd1042 agreed on brady being the luckiest motherfucker in sports history. But jordan was the beneficiary of some luck as well. As far as big gamers go, for me it begins and ends with joe Montana. He is the goat for me in the big game. But brady vs jordan, brady has 3 shots to get to the super bowl and he has to win them all. Jordan had 5 > 7> 7 to do it, to me football is always going to be the more impressive one.
Tbh I say Brady it’s harder to win a Super Bowl than a nba championship
Every season Jordan played he was the greatest in the league. Brady I believe wasnt as good as Peyton or Aaron Rodgers. Especially Aaron. Jordan is up there with Ali and pele for global icons. Brady isnt even close.
Brady is a passer. Jordan did everything, including playing defense. No comparison on who the GOAT of GOATS is. It’s MJ, easily.
But Brady won with nobody’s as receivers Michael needed help and Brady was way more successful
Best nba champion Bill Russell. Best nba Individual Athlete by production Wilt Chamberlain. Best overall nba player and champion Michael Jordan.
Best nfl champion tom brady, best nfl individual player??? (This is hard! Lawrence Taylor, mel blount, or mean joe green) best overall nfl player (deion sanders playing both sides of the ball. I might be off on this one)
everyone wants to be like Mike. thats a actual saying. there was a movie made on from the saying. the man was culture on to himself
Wayne Gretzky.
I really hope Brady plays until the wheels fall off. I’d like for him to have a hall of fame career the last third of his career. Break his career into two and you have two hall of fame careers… I want his time with the Bucs to be another
look up nick wrights breakdown on this. Brady already has 3 hof careers if you split them by 7 years a piece
Tom Brady is probably one of the hardest working of all time.
MJ was more of a natural talent. He was born to play the game and to lead. Not to say he didn't have to work for it, but winning came a bit easier for him.
Mj is the king of the nba
I have to say Brady..He is well like on every team that he has played on ( wolverines..Pats..and now Bucs)...Brady is a team Leader....
Micheal Jordan , on the court and if you go back in time to the 70s and playing conditions on the field Brady wouldn't stand a chance against the iron curtain of the steelers, certainly not Vince Lombardi and the Packers. Brady is the greatest of this century , not all time .
Jordan's "flaw" is he was so much better than everyone else at basketball he got bored and had to try another sport for a challenge.
Brady
I would literally rather have Hakeem Olajuwon leading my franchise for 15 years than Michael Jordan. I think that kind of player is more valuable.
Your picture personifies your take👍
TB12
Jordan is the Goat of Goats. Brady lost twice to the Giants. Once when they were 18-0. There's no way Brady lives that down
Yeah no way he lives that down. Only 5 Super Bowl appearances and 4 Super Bowl wins since that. No way 😂
Well this is a great comparison video, I can't help but to think Tiger Woods should have been in this too. 🤔
MJ All the Way!
Right now I would put Micheal just ahead but if somehow Tom could win again in 2022 he would become the KING of GOATS1
You can't really compare the 2. The amount of effort that MJ had to put into his game was the entire 48 min on both offense and defense. Can't imagine Brady having the same success if he had to constantly run the entire game. Not really comparable
Babe Ruth
@@TheDeepening718 lmao nuff said bro

@@danielamaro4554 but Brady had more success the main reason y’all put Jordan over bron and Brady was 100x more successful than mj so I don’t see how anyone see Jordan over Brady fr
@@lamontjamison9848 lol if you think mj was not successful in the regular season and that he was only that dominant in the playoffs/finals, you clearly have never watched basketball a day in your life lol

Its two different sports!
Jordan. I respect Brady, but when he acts like a diva when he loses, it’s hard for me to take him seriously.
He wears his heart on his sleeve. He loves the sport, and that’s what athletes do.
MJ 4 da win easily
Cheatriots done a lot of cheating
Smh
Gretzky by a mile
Brady has benefited from the pussification of the NFL, he's the most accomplished of our era, can't give anyone GOAT status that plays in a league that favors offense 100% more than even the 90's let alone the 80's or further back... Brady or any other QB in the league today would never have the careers they have now, especially a 20 year career as a QB, he would have been destroyed in a time when you could actually tackle the QB... that being said, when we call someone the GOAT from this sad state of the NFL, it is spitting in the eye of true greats that DID play when football was football.
Lol people in the late 70s were saying that same stuff when the NFL had rules dumbing down defense to stop the Steelers. I can tell you that the 2000s rules and 80s rules were more alike than 2000s and 2010s on.
