    Hey Mike.. I visited a shop that sells eco solvent printers & was told laminating isn’t necessary 🤔 he also said the stickers last outdoors at least 3 yrs. I was surprised to hear this bc most channels that I watch that use eco solvent printers are laminating their stickers.

      @mikesstickers  2 месяца назад +2

      @@ebabylopez it’s a sales pitch. The laminate 100% makes it last longer, makes it more durable & makes it easier to handle. If you never touch the sticker then the ink will never come off. If I put a non-laminated sticker on my cellphone then the ink starts to rub off in a matter of days because I’m always touching it & if rubbing against my pocket. Non-laminated stickers are also too thin & are simply not professional quality. For certain applications I would agree that laminate is not necessary.

    What's the ink cost like for the BN20? I use a Epson c4000 for labels but the ink cost is just obscene.

    Thanks for sharing the video, Mike-it’s fantastic, as always. I'm considering purchasing from Substance based on your recommendation. I’ve had some issues with lamination on my current print media, so I’m hopeful that Substance will provide a better solution. Appreciate your insights!

    I figured the bundle would be stuffed with crap, I did that once when I started screen printing and ended up not using any of it🙄
    Question about the graphtec, I’m going to pick up a BN2 and literally just want the things I’m going to NEED outright so I can spend money where I need it when those times come. Do you think with the faster machine the ce7000 is still something you would recommend? As a person just starting out you think demand would justify the purchase? How much of a learning curve would you say using the graphtec and Roland in conjunction is? Thanks man, I appreciate the info, subscribed

      @mikesstickers  3 месяца назад

      I would definitely still get the graphtec because when production is going at full speed you will need to print files while cutting other files. You can literally double your productivity when you have both machines.

      The learning curve will be different with each person but I was printing & cutting in the first day of owning the Roland. The graphtec is even easier to use. Hardest part is just dialing in your pressure settings.

    How do you get them to cut the 60" roll down to 20" is there an option on their site? Do you have to contact them? Thanks for the info you are inspiring.

      @@code4bailbonds602 there is an option to add a note when placing the order but they always recommend to call just to confirm the note went through with the order. One time it showed up uncut & I had to send it back.

      You can also cut it yourself with a chop saw. But substance will cut it better for free just might take a little longer to ship.

      @@hollywoodfred sounds like a good idea, only thing that gets me is that if my chop saw will cut it so it will load properly. but i wouldnt mind a day or two extra for shipping to get the right cuts. thanks for the input.
