Copic markers are made for blending! Try this: hit the yellow, than orange the core then go back to the yellow on the edges of where you colored the orange while the ink is still wet (don't worry about the tips, just stroke a few times on a scrap piece of paper to clean them.) You'll see you will be able to get much better gradients of color with them.
Yes I agree, blending while it's still wet is definitely the way to go. If it dries, you can always wet it back up with a few markers. Thanks for sharing!
I must say that you have one of the most helpful channels for people into industrial design. I applied to design schools this year, but didn't get in (it was very close however). I hope year of practice in a open school and great tutorials like yours help me get into design school next year :)
Be sure to check out what professionals are doing on Behance.com/ Deviantart/ Here on youtube. it'll give you an idea what to aim for when learn processes. :) Good luck!
Just wanted to say thanks you! you do an amazing job. I’ve been a wildlife artist and photographer for 40 years and I have just recently got into working with markers. Absolutely love your videos and can’t thank you enough. Look forward to seeing more videos and I’m definitely going to take your course.
I love how the copics dont put so much paint on the paper at first. Like its easy to layer. My promarkers are more than fine but theres so much colour coming of when even gently putting the pencil on the paper
Hi Maroune what pack of markers touchnew do you recommend, I ask mainly about the necessary gray that are needed, some packs dont have a the cool gray one for example that i think is very usefull but that is my doubt
its never the brand of papers but the type and quality that matters .. for markers i guess the best result is on bond paper and ivory paper ( when i mean quality i mean GSM )
