been operating on AMD/Intel for about fifteen years, the Apple Silicon should have them nervous, it's my new daily driver. I don't want to start that debate but for creative use, this is a huge investment, I don't see myself upgrading for years.

congrats bro. I have the same sony a7siii and lens that you do and edit on a 2019 mac pro. I'm not quite able to use the camera to its full capability, just becasde my computer can't handle it at the moment so definetly take advantage of that with this new beast. Well deserved. Keep killing it.

macbooks are good for more creative uses like art, editing, photoshop, etc. windows laptops and pcs are still very capable for creative uses but can also do many other things that the mac either just cant do or underperforms. personally i do a lot of different things and im on a small budget so i just have a basic gaming pc that i built myself and a basic cheap laptop.
long rant but good if your considering either a windows or mac computer
