Lovely frescos in that church. Always thought that it was odd that they have casts of the bodies on display in Pompeii.
When I went to Naples, I didn't get a chance to go to Pompeii, unfortunately. Several years ago, a Pompeii exhibition came to Perth and we went to see it. There were so many artefacts, including some body casts. There was a lot of jewellery that looked brand new. Amazing. The actual place looks fascinating.
It certainly was amazing. We would love to visit again but dedicate a whole day to the site. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. We really appreciate your support 🙏
We did Pompeii and Vesuvius with Marella. We then booked a mid-week to Naples ourselves and went back to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Naples is a great place for walking around, the museum also has a lot of the fresco's and artifacts preserved from Pompeii.
If there is a next time, we want to go to Herculaneum and eat pizza in Naples. Pompeii was stunning and there is still lots to unearth. Thanks for watching 👍
