The easiest solution of this problem is to press del and go to bios, and then select Integrated Peripherals , after that you will have to enable USB keyboard and then presd F1 to save the change you made and then press escape to go back in BIOs menu and then press F1 again and then escape, now your key board will work and press enter on Delete Restoration to repair, and your windows will open🙆

Late to the party but had the exact same issue using wireless keyboard. My fix was simply to move the usb bluetooth receiver to another usb port and like magic it was fixed.

Jeremy Williams finally I didn’t have to sit through habeeb stammering about the issue without providing a fix for like five minutes it’s incredible how in-depth he goes without actually providing any new info
I found the best solution if your keyboard is not working..
Step 1 - unplug everything except your keyboard, monitor, and power plug.
Step 2 - Just turn on the cpu and start Tapping the "F1" button as fast as you can...for 30-40sec
Step 3 - Now hold down the "F1" button for 15-20 sec and after that directly press the "ENTER".

SOLUTION!! Video is unnecessarily long. I had same problem where wired keyboard worked for bios menu commands but when the windows loader screen came up where it asked me to either delete or load, no key presses worked. Here are the steps that I did for screen to work. I turned the pc off, I plugged power cord, cleared cmos (some motherboards have button on them, you might have to look up how to do on your specific motherboard) I held the button down for like 5 seconds, plugged power cord back in, turned on, spammed tab button (again bios load button may be different on your board) when loading in bios - this opens like a bios loader. I selected the one that had last 5 successful loads, this took me back to windows loader screen and then I was able to select if I want to continue or clear. I cleared which then took me to the operating system on hard drive (I happened to have windows 7). Hope this helps

I had this problem. My keyboard wouldn’t even respond to the key that opens bios. I thought what if I put it into the USB 2.0 port instead of the USB 3.0. I put it into 2.0 and I was able to hit the option delete

Instead of doing these things... just use ps2 key board and delete restoration... it will check the memory and recovers the windows in very little time... who are facing this problem you have to use ps2 pin keyboard... if this problem arises again it won't work with USB and wire less keyboards... if you are using USB and wireless keyboards you will face this problem again and again...

The enter key is not working. This is complicated for those who use usb keyboard for laptop. I am still trying to work on this. I wish I don’t have to purchase a built in keyboard to make this work.

Nothing worked from any video i looked at. So what did work for me was i held down the volume button laptop and then pushed the letter C and the screen went right to the home page. Maybe it will help someone else

None of this or the comments worked for me. what i did to get it to work was open bios, under power setting, one option is based on what to do after an unexpected crash. I changed it to power on. I reset my computer and i got to the same screen with my keyboard not working. I unplugged my computer at this screen causing a fake crash. Turned my computer back on this screen came up again for about 5 seconds but it went away and i was able to log in.
