17:00, Siya brought up an important point about exploring other kinds of relationship dynamics and ways in which people structure their relationships and allow each partner to show up. I understand the need for polarity in a relationship but I think queer relationships can show how people can work together to figure out what a relationship looks like for them. How you treat one another in the relationship then becomes about you both and not societal taught expectations.

28:00 Siya is right, other people are looking at other characteristics when in the market for a partner. Sitting in Twitter echo chambers is the most unhelpful thing if you are single, it may be the reason someone is staying away from you.

23:00 Its unfair to work hard at everything else in your life but the relationship that you say you value - for all parties involved.
