i think an often overlooked part of this is that knov was in a state of zetsu. When we're first introduced to nen we learn that the aura that flows around you acts as protection. Knov basically felt the full weight of a royal guard straight to his soul. Im suprised he held up as much as he did. what a trooper.
But the aura not touch him, he only see the aura
@@tiomirio2434 But that simple glimpse made him realize how terrible Pitou's aura really was, if he had made contact with that aure while in Zetsu he would have been torn apart by Pitou's horrible Nen, hell, Even Netero and Zeno were shocked of that sinister aura when they witnessed Doctor Blythe when they arrived after the Dragon Dive
What Know had seen was Pouf's En. And what Gon & Killua had seen and felt was Pitou's.

I feel this moment so much. I remember being so mad at Knov and Morel when they dissed Killua for being scared of the ants. And then when Knov finally sees it he is this traumatized and think about our two boys. Togashi writes this stuff so well

@@faristont4561except they were kids facing a strong foe for the first time.. look at netero reaction when witnessing pitous nen activetion when healing komugi. They were pretty shocked and worried for the most experienced characters.
that's just like a kid not knowing how terrifying something is. A child seeing a tiger for the first time in person for the first time may be scared but not know how terrifying it truly is. He is also naive.
Man succeeded, his waifu got arguably more beautiful and he won a bet with his friend for good money, now he needs a good rest, some rehab and enjoy the rest of his years in peace. That's one of the best ends one can get here in HxH.
But is Palm still in love with Knov? Cause after she woke up as a chimera ant, all she wanted to see was Gon and not once mentioned Knov.
@@brandonacevedo1681 well, she's honestly really easy to influence, when she fell for Gon and all that, but she still remains with Knov to this day (I imagine she has fallen for quite a number of men throughout her life), even saying that at the end Know is the one for her, with all their comedic gig and stuff.

@@faristont4561 that's why i used sinister instead of scary or frightening. Pitou is an evil that is influenced by curiosity, playfulness and loyalty. Mischievous would be the word for her. Pouf's on the other hand is graceful, scheming, twisted and possibly deranged. He is functioning with the obsession of that ideal ant king in mind.
Pitou's aura is more like foreboding and heavy while pouf's is as I said, sinister. The user is insane so it's natural that it's reflected on his en

OP's not wrong; Pitou is the aura of that of a housecat on the hunt. They play with their prey, only going for the kill when they seek to devour what they've caught. That's why pitou sought to bring kite back after the skirmish in the NGL.
Pouf is none of that: He has no desires to toy with or play. His aura is that of something vile, dark and twisted, a bloodlust which only those who dare raise a finger against the king, would suffer horrifically till their last breath.

I believe it was described once as (Being in a State of Zetsu to a Strong Aura) “being Naked in a Blizzard”. Knov was Naked in a Blizzard in Antarctica at the Coldest time of the Year. That fact that he didn’t drop dead from that is a miracle alone.

Gon and kilua is built different that's why they choose to fight but we cant deny the fact that after know saw that en, he saw the whole picture like torturing him in million times in different ways. I felt sorry for him

So many reactors don't pay attention...they thought it was the king aura, or pitou....when previously it was established pouf was replacing pitou using En, because she was busy healing the king arm...so this aura was pouf En...is that so hard to tell??
It was poufs aura he literally ssaid he was using en whilst pitou healed the kings arm
I think that pouf's aura is more evil and intense than pitous. this one was poufs that's why I think that pitous is not that intense still brutal but not as poufs but poufs has a shorter range like he said before

Ironic that when Knov was first introduced when he met Killua, he was so harsh about Killua being afraid, that they are children. But now the tables have turned and he is the one who is the most afraid. I am still glad that he got that redeeming moment when he thought about the boys here. Though, an apology would be nice 😅
To be fair he was in zetsu, so he literally had 0 defense against the aura, where as gon and killua were fully equipped in ten
