most larping people play unrealistic characters ... magic users, vampires,aleins etc combat systems range fron lazer tag/paintball realism ,one hit systems and even rock paper scissors for some vampire games I know
Certainly room for improvement there... Anouncing the damage-value of your weapon with every strike is just plain annoying. And considering LARP being 'roleplaying', they should act as if their weapons were made of iron... that means heavy!
