Dude i love this channel. I love these deepdives into such an opaque industry. Please feel free to make videos on the weirdest most obscure stuff, its so good.
I played this with my cousin at a Chuck E Cheese’s recently. It was my first time seeing it. Despite us both having a fast reaction time (with mine being faster), there was a noticeable delay that prevented us from ever getting the jackpot. When it went too fast and the dot was too close, even when we hit the button with the line right on the dot, it would keep going and miss. We assumed it was the nature of the game to be rigged like this, and the delay started switching from being there and not. Since the jackpot wasn’t possible we used the continue feature. It was really fun despite that and still gave a ton of “tickets”.
@@thebestworst8002 it definitely is lol. im really good at timing based games and when i had gotten a jackpot from it and played it again, i pressed the button but it delayed my input (and very obviously at that) to make me miss. and that was after it kept trying to put the sweet spots super close to the bar so i would miss edit: went back to the very same machine today and got 4 jackpots but they also fixed the jackpot number to 250 so im guessing its not rigged anymore or i was a dumb kid lol
@@dreadfulfr I know these games arent as tightly controlled as something like a casino, but if it got out that a hugely popular game like this one was rigged, it could lead to legal trouble. Sega has already faced a 5 million dollar lawsuit for keymaster. Some random guy on the internet telling me they missed one time and therefore its rigged isn't very compelling evidence in comparison to what would be at stake for the company.
@@megapussi and if they got caught rigging their games with keymaster whos to say they wouldnt do it for others? and besides its not like im lying i have nothing to gain in doing so.
There’s a strategy with the last 10, from what I’ve seen there’s always 3 spaced out and the rest are close together. So if you get them early you can effectively spam the button.
I was wondering why I'd never seen this game... but it was made in the late 2010's. And then I remembered the last time I went to an arcade was the early 2010's. (AAAAAA, where did the years go)
Love all the sonic music! My favorite arcade experience of all time is the Cycraft Initial D vr machine. It’s easily the most impressive and immersive arcade I’ve ever had.
The inability to play while tickets are counting might be a card reader issue. I used to play at a Bowlero that had no lockout limit, so I would play games back to back and the tickets owed counter would go to 5000+
At the Dave & Buster’s, that is near me and another one that’s near me buttons on the lock, which makes the final 10 incredibly hard it’s delayed by half a second
Yessshhhh, bless Pop The Lock! I guess I get it when some machines are designed for physical ticket use, but I have to wonder if there isn't a thing for making virtual tickets get paid out instantaneously, but perhaps they keep the slow way to emulate the feeling for physical tickets, heh. ;u; Regardless, it's nice to see that for the most part, everything's challenging yet fair with this game! Speaking of challenging yet fair, I wouldn't know about any secret manual stuffs, but would it be possible to do a video on Quik Drop?
Oh wow, I felt that ticket counter delay at every single game during my recent trip to Round1. I was doing pretty good on the ball drop game, but it took around 3 minutes just to count up to 200. The prizes there were priced reasonably based on getting a handful of good wins this way, but you have to be very patient. You'd think an arcade would want to encourage you to spend your credits as fast as possible.
That continue feature is a huge money maker for arcades. Kids are so stupid to think logically they spend 10+ swipes just to get a low break even jackpot.
I don't think my arcade has it rigged, with a lot of practice I can consistently win 3-5 times in a row and only lose 3-5 times before getting a win. It's a lot of good profit for me. Glad I havent been banned yet

agreed!

I remembered avoiding this game afraid of it being rigged
It honestly feels like the one arcade game that isn’t rigged
@@thebestworst8002 so true

this channel is so good, its so much better than the other arcade channels
Oh boy! A new up and coming channel with high quality content! Putting my subscription in now before it grows big.
At 2:40 that’s my reddit post! 🤩
Really good analysis!
And if anyone is curious, that Chuck E Cheese jackpot was at Bell, California
Wait, people advantage play Chuck E. Cheese?!
I really like these videos. I would really love to see a video about the monster drop. those things are arcade classics!
this was really good! congrats on your first video!

The card system my bowlero uses is inter card and that card system lets you keep playing while tickets are counting down with embed you have to wait
Great video, loved the video essay format!
man you are INSANELY UNDERRATED
Love the video! I'd love to see something on Space Invaders Frenzy!
Great video! Piano Tiles would be fun for the next one
Nice vid! Seems like a game that you can really farm tickets with :)
Arcades near me always have this machine, but it's always on a huge delay and techs never fix it.
At the Dave & Buster’s, that is near me and another one that’s near me buttons on the lock, which makes the final 10 incredibly hard it’s delayed by half a second
the amount of 49/50s i’ve gotten is incredibly emberassing
Do prize redemption games. Like Stacker, Barber cut, Keymaster and drop the hook
This has been one of my favorites since it launched and I am so happy to find out that it's not rigged and that others agree with me

instructions unclear; once you mentioned the mobile app i downloaded it and played it while the rest of the video played in the background

I would really love to see a video about buster bubbles and you can play it at Chuck E. Cheese in La Mesa, CA
I wish they had this at my local Dave and Busters
In my arcade it's set at a 500 but it has always given double tickets for... some reason, not complaining though!
Thank you for this information dude
Quik drop?
i actually remember playing the mobile game as a kid
0:56 use a hosts adblocker or adblocker tweak on a jailbreaked iphone*
If it's already an S-Tier game and the minor gripes with it get fixed, where does it go from there? SS-Tier? S+-Tier?
Easily S yea, super farmable if you are good enough

Modern stacker
5:55 that's not true. Whether it's a setting or software update, I'm able to replay right after a jackpot and build up the tickets to payout
