Here you are again!! Great encouragement! I agree with your approach of "let's just get started!". I don't recommend Synthesia either. I'm not a fan at all, and it seems like many of these types of tutorials are simply made by someone who goes and finds a MIDI file and then makes a video of notes falling when they don't even know how to play the song!!! You have given SO much information in literally 6 minutes! Fast-Paced - and engaging!!! Like #2 from me, Brianne!!!
Then I'm glad that I'm not the only one that scratches their head in regards to piano synesthesia. Some channels have well over 100,000 subscribers just for uploading MIDI. I read one learner said they enjoyed synesthesia but then wanted to learn music and they had to start all over again. Although I do like playing space Invaders, LOL
Glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t like synthesia! Definitely an option for songs when you’re just getting started but not a long term way to play the piano. Thanks for watching and excited to see what new content you’re going to have on your channel in 2022! 🎉
Many of the method books now have interactive technology like QR code so you can hear play along and then there are many RUclipsrs that will play out of method books. However, you're in great hands with Breanne :-). That is piano path is the best :-)
Hi Lannie!! Thanks for watching. Are you a total beginner at the piano? For self learning guides, I’d recommend Faber’s All-in-One. For an online membership, I think Pianote has a pretty wide variety of lessons as well as access to teachers for feedback! (I’m opening a piano course for beginners in late January/February if you’re on my email list, you’ll be the first to hear about it!! 🙌🏻) but if you’re looking to get started ASAP, I’d start with the top 2 that I listed! 😊
Hello Brianne ! Many thanks for all the valuable knowledge you kindly share in your RUclips channel. I started The Simplified Note Reading Workshop I just purchased. I find it very educational and I love your enthusiastic way of presenting. By the way, I currently have no more piano or keyboard to practice on ! I intend to purchase a good piano in only a few months. So, would you please let me know if there is any expiry date for the learning material therein? Thank you in advance. My best, Abderrahman, Casablanca, Morocco
Hi there!!! So glad to hear that you're enjoying the workshop! You'll have lifetime access to the workshop for the life of the program - so no rush to finish it! You can return to it whenever you need :) What piano or keyboard are you planning on getting?? Keep me updated with how things go! You can always send me an email at hello@thepianopath.com as well!
Thank you for the video! I had made it my mission last year to learn piano and unfortunately it didn't happen. This year I have much more free time and I'm determined to do it! Video was very helpful =)
@@ThePianoPath I'd like to learn to read sheet music. I got a bit discouraged last year because I was thinking the only way I could learn is with a teacher, and I can't afford one. So I'm going to try getting some cheap beginners books at first, and I've also checked out pianote which you mentioned in the other comment, and have signed up for there free beginners classes =)
@@charlottecatt8064 so many different ways to learn piano outside of private lessons!!! And I love that you’re wanting to learn sheet music. That’s kind of my jam on this channel and a big focus for the next year (I believe it should be easy and fun right from the start!)

@@PianoSpiceRackwithJim ha ha? Yeah... It's like space invaders.
@@PianoSpiceRackwithJim I know, right!? I don't understand what people like about those so much... Unless it's just listening to the song.
