  • McCall's 7637 sewing make is a unisex bomber jacket. I made view B, the view that the gentleman is wearing. I really love the way this bomber jacket turned out. I decided to use corduroy fabric for the body of the jacket. I used ribbed knit for the sleeve cuffs and the waistband. This jacket has five pockets, and I used scraps when making this garment. The jacket is lined. I share how the jacket turned out, the changes that I made to the jacket, and what the jacket looks like on.

Thank you for following when I sewed the New Look pattern. I was excited to pick up a few more New Look patterns during the Hobby Lobby $0.99 sale. So glad you have this jacket pattern. I hope you enjoy making it.

Thank you so much. I was very happy to have the blue corduroy fabric to add to the jacket. I had fun putting it all together.

You always have the best color combinations and mashups. I have this pattern and didn’t realize it had lining instructions. I need a warmer jacket and this could fit the bill. Nice amount of details on the construction. Looks great on you!

Hi, Lisa. Aww. Thank you so so much. I think this pattern would be ideal if you’re needing a warmer jacket. Great that you already have the pattern with the lining instructions included. 😉

Nice job. Like that you added the blue smaller piece of cord to the other side but what really sets it off is the lining in blue. Very nice.

Hey!!!! Lol. I decided to throw in an extra video this week. :) Thank you so much. I really enjoyed making this jacket, and I was so happy to have the leftover blue corduroy to add. I find myself pairing this jacket with jeans a lot because of the added blue fabric. Thanks again!
