Fall Of Lumen is so much easier to play than LoV. After the first round, you will be able to read all the iconography like your native language. Its an awesome feel-good engine builder.
@Liege- I'm so glad you picked up Fall of Lumen! I've played a few rounds to familiarize myself, and the iconography is heavy at first but I grokked it pretty quickly. My first impression is quite good. Twoid understands what is best conveyed in a legend, and what needs it's own exposition in the rulebook. I haven't had trouble yet finding info I need quickly, so they deserve that praise for the rulebook. So far I'm really enjoying Fall and looking forward to hearing what you think of it!
The feel of the chips in war chest is awesome. Not an abstract guy but I do enjoy the variety of units that keep this game from being stale Also the new AEG expansions may be available during the random sales week on AEG's website starting saturday, otherwise its the 18th.
7th Citadel is genuinely great - I prefer 7th Continent, but citadel does a lot of things right. The scenario lenght is good for an afternoon of fun with 1-2 other people (probably best at two, yeah), the exploration is still nice - there's few board games that make me think about them outside of playing as much as this one did. I've already finished the base game, so there are people that finish these games :D
Honestly ISS vanguard is fairly accessible. At least most accessable AR title so far. Not sure how they did on KoR but it seems to me they are learning and getting better at making the tutorials and how to's.
I've played Skyrise a few times with my game group. It is a good bidding game and it plays very fast. The only thing i feel it needs is more end game scoring variety.

I am curious about the co-op for Skytear, let me us know. I loving it solo.
Happy bday to Le Wife, Chris 🎉🤘
11:22 I think most people play Mage Knight as a solo game!
If you remove the four large plastic city boards in Skyrise, there are cut-out slots for several items including the metal key.
Fall of Lumen is not heavier than Legends of Void. I've played Fall of Lumen a couple of times and there are plenty of options, but not overwhelming.

War Chest is overrated - PASS
