366.5 kW at 10,817 rpm, thinking WTF! ahh hub dyno... lol epic fail on the burnout. That's like that dream where you turn up to school naked. As Effie would say how embarrassment. Redeemed yourself in the end. Thank you so much for bringing us this series I really enjoyed the journey.

Crazy Japanese motors with coolant hoses to the throttle body...... kinda like a LS1 👍
It does't get that cold in Straya but here in North America the coolant is used to keep the throttle from freezing.

Alright, I didn't think there would be 60Kw difference between wheels and hubs. 😳 So, I'm sticking with the result you got at Maxx Performance Scotty and calling the Summernats run an anamoly. I finished the front end yesterday, finally. Doing some B-Roll today of the front end, edit and upload. 👍 Over a month between episodes because of life and the car interfering with me. Good work picking up on the fuel issue and swapping to -8 on the fuel rail. 🤘

Shifters rule when you know how to use em but id upgrade to some Knipex Nut Phuckers for speedy race timed shifter work.
I can't believe you used a shifter on AN lines..Always use vice grips on AN fittings.

Not bad ,but unless the fuel rail is smaller than the AN 8, then its a total waste of time really, but still not bad Scotty keep up the great work. :)
Fuel rail is at least -10 or -12 size

Any reason it didnt come back to the magic 300kw after the fuel pump/oil issues?
It was running too lean which is why it made more power. Zane set it up fat and happy for Summernats at our request
Its not like Scotty doesn't have form for mixing up oil and water hahaha. I think every engine I've messed with in Europe has a coolant feed to the throttle body.
I haven't played with much Euro stuff either.
Turbos too big? Psshh. Think you might need some advice from the golbeys boys about these 1jz's. They love big turbos but a proper sized converter and a transbrake would have that thing skidding mint (And a mini spool)
Thank you for dumping the oil a second time, as you were filling that up I was thinking that is going to get milky as well. Have a thumbs up just for doing it right. lol not worried if you use a shifter on the fuel line, just keep it away from the sump plug :O)
Guess you only had to lock off one of the rear breaks?

So you did 3 oil changes and not once replaced to filter?
We changed the filter a couple times but mainly we were flushing coolant out if the system. The filter that collapsed was on the car 30mins.

I've done better burnouts in a 240 with an N/A red block running 112 bhp.

Fix the shifter & have some brake cutoff for the rear brakes in some way & it should rip tires nicely.
We have trans stuff on the way.
STREETMACHINETV Hm, any future plans for stuffing a drivetrain into a much smaller car perhaps that's not quite a miata weight wise but certainly light & rwd still ?
A sleeper wagon perhaps of some sort that's fairly light still, perhaps older then the trolvo.
A drift car ?
Then again with the Trolvo up & running you could probably tweak the front end of that a bit for drifting on a budget without any problems.
Stiffer front end roll & suspension, sort out steering angle lock & cut out the wheel wells a bit so you can turn further without hitting something after increasing the steering lock & perhaps manual swap with hydraulic e-brake if the budget allows it.
The 240 & 740 Volvo's are pretty good bricks for drifting after all if you search a bit on RUclips, you'll find plenty of them.
366RHKW through a stock 1J and auto is very impressive! What turbo is it exactly? 3576? 3582? Love it Scotty, keep up the good work!

12:18 what else did he change? more boost less HP. 12.2:1 isn't bad, so it isn't overly rich. Played with the timing and went the wrong way? The power just kept getting worse and worse, sorry but I would be taking it to a different tuner. By 14:52 he had lost nearly 40rwkW. 12.1:1 AFR, 20.5 psi, 268.8 rwkW versus 13.0:1 (OK bit lean for comfort), 20.6 psi, 306.2 rwkW. From 2.5 litres with that boost, I'd be searching for another tuner.
We're still being conservative at the moment. I'm actually happy with the power and that boost
it was a hot night and the car was being hot lapped on the dyno.

The sun here just melts inside the cab, through that fish tank hatch. Have to be one of the best sounding cars to come out off England.

Always amazed me just how many rare collections of all type vehicles. And then there's aircraft from WW1 up to the jets anything piston powered, NZ is know as the place for restoration off warbirds to building new WW1 Biplanes. To carbon fiber parts for sailing.

Instead of naming things like (Episode 45) like a tv show, name it whats happening in the episode. Try and mimic Cleetus titles.(This will also help you get residual views/traffic in the future when people are searching in Google)

hi Scotty awsom show!! of intrest SB barina i have a sb combo van and 1993 ye calibra with a fresh c20xe ,f20 gearbox also i imported the custom limited slip diff to go in it ..I have one problem i live in capalaba QLD surrounded by big time custom and hotrod shops , with the problem they are scared of hot fours and east-west configerations (front wheel drive ) ?? if you have any contacts up here who have some nuts would be of great intrest
