Native people of Greenland look like Asian because they are descendants of a small group of people of Asia that crossed over from Russian North Asia or from Alaska to Greenland through the Bering Strait, which at that time was just an actual land bridge. The entire Russian North has some population that looks like local Greenlanders. One of such nations are Chukchi who appeared in the tundra before the Christian era and called themselves the Luoraveti. This people wandered through theChukotka peninsula with thousands of deer, hunted whales and lived in a yaranga, an original transportable tent made of deer hide.
Frankie, Stumbled upon your facebook page and found this. As I said back on the ship - this is fantastic! You are a natural...Hope you are well. Karen M
Frankie's a nice guy and warm host but he's a little awkward and weird at times, he doesn't even really try to pronounce anything the natives say and just moves on speaking to them in English. That's kind of.... eh.
It's just for people that can't speak english well to understand better and easier. But yes, some of them seem like they could understand in regular speak, but many not. Especially older ones.
This is so sweet. And what a beautiful town.
Nice to see My home town again and those i love❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like Greenland! Greetings from Greece!

Why in the world was Beethoven's Appassionata Sonata chosen as the music track? It is completely incongruous with this video!

Stop talking to people like they're deaf. It comes across as condescending.
