Respect how you don’t talk whilst you’re handling him. Most people on RUclips have them in their hands whilst gesturing, talking loudly etc so looks like he’s in good hands 🙌🏼
@@chew_fly_ftw2250 hi yeah sure! Although chameleons don’t have an outer ear structure, they can still sense vibrations in the air which can be useful for listening to a bug flapping its wings or a predator! Although their hearing is very poor, they can still actually hear! :)
A couple of days, but he was still not use to me at that point so he would puff up. It just takes time, and making sure you do it on THEIR terms so that they feel comfortable :)
We want to get a chameleon but are worried our cats and dogs will stress them out. If you had a family cat or dog and need a video idea you could always do something about keeping your critters happy and safe from bigger house pets. I’m worried about my cats staring at them and dogs barking. That sort of thing. This video is so helpful though!
hurlbut9 hi! I have a dog, and the people that I got him from had cats and dogs, over time, little by little, your chameleon should become used to your other pets. When you first introduce them, keep the interaction short so that they can both see eachother and continue this until they’re comfortable. My chameleon was very scared of my dog at first but he seems to be warming up to her (even though I would never let them actually meet). Chameleons can be prone to stress so try and keeps other animals like cats and dogs out of the room that the chameleon is in :)
Beautiful!! Hoping to get one eventually! Thank you for the awesome info!

Yeah haha I can definitely see from his body language when he’s uncomfortable, not many chameleons like loud things! Thanks a lot!! :)

His colours are so vibrant. Great content. What online site did you find him on. I’d go for a 2’x2’x4’ if you can. 👍
