That’s funny. I always thought this was an accountant or engineer’s watch because every dot is very precise, almost like a ruler or a grapher. What makes you think so tho?
what a nice watch but the date at the 6 clock made that area looks busy and disrupt the flow of the dots and numbers. It would be perfectly placed near the 3 o'clock area similar to how the name is near the 9 o clock
Wearing this watch makes me feel like I’m at the MOMA pretending to know what I’m talking about. Which is fantastic because I don’t know what I’m talking about.
***** That doesn't mean that ETA designed those movements. Valjoux created the 6497, you can still call it a Valjoux 6497 even though ETA makes them now.
This is a great review, thanks for posting. Maybe think about making sure you clean up your hangnails, next time ... sorta distracting when you are talking about precise, clean luxury watches.
well, you talk about copies. You seem to like copies. This is a design icon. Bauhaus etc. This design is on the market since the 30ies, Seems you´re not too much into art and design.
I love art and design, Nomos is just a brand that I don't like, even if I could afford it I wouldn't buy it, I respect their ingenuity for thinness, which is all they have going for them, besides that in a few years the wristwatch as we know it will be no more
Clearly your an idiot if you think a watch looks good because it's mechanical and expensive, in about a 100 years these type of watches will be like pocket watches today.
A watch worth saving up for! Such refreshing design.
This is such a musicians watch! Would fit perfect in modern performance halls and perfect size for playing music too. Beautiful contemporary piece.
David Rosin Well said. They call the other one the Ludwig cause of the symphonies and roman numerals, but this is the one.

I couldn’t agree more with all the comments in this thread. I’m a musician and I’m a CPA and I own this watch
Those green dots give the dial an air of freshness, and I love the way the hands align with the dots.
Thanks so much. I own one and feel exactly the way you described about it.
LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS WATCH.
Great review-thoroughly enjoyed it.
I've been looking for a nice watch at a decent price... this might be the move.
Sure is an interesting watch. Refreshing to say the least.
LOVE HOW THAT GREEN COLOR IS IN THE WATCH.
absolutely love the metro! the color combination is great
oh and you mispronounced Glas - hütte.

Great video! 👍
I love this watch and it will definitely be my first real watch.... Nomos metro babe !
Thanks for review, it's an incredible watch.
Absolutely fantastic review - I'm considering buying one of these watches. Thanks so much!
Brilliant review.
been on my list for awhile now :)

Beautiful watch! But the date setting... Hmmmmmmmm
Pro-tip: It's pronounced Glaz-hueteh, not Glah-SHooteh.
no one speaks nazi anymore. and no one cares.
@@jamesfreeman7954 Conflating Germans with Nazis... well done! Dickhead.
There was another review where the guys said Glas-shoot... it was pretty cringey XD
Are you the verge guy?
I believe their movements are based on Peseux movements, not ETA.
Bas Q. Iknow, that the Metro has an in house made movement - inclusive their own ballance!
***** That doesn't mean that ETA designed those movements.

Unitas indeed, I made a mistake.
But I'm going to quit this discussion because of your lack of social skills, I'd work on that if I were you.
No, I don't know!
I think the term you are looking for is wabi sabi...
The watch is beautiful and so is the power reserve...but that off center placement would drive me nuts.
Sexy. I need to read up on the movement to judge if it is worth that much money. Is it completely new or adapted from a movement they buy in?
It's the same as a previous movement, I've forgotten the name
This will be on my wrist in a matter of days, good review and can't wait :D
Shit, that minute hand looks like it comes little late to 0 mark @21:31... otherwise I love this.
How accurate this movement is ?
+seventy soul probably more accurate than your english.
Its date setting truly turns me off....
Nothing quite like it. Unique dial, unique hands. Amazing design.
This will definitely be the next watch I buy.
***** can't it be both? :c

I wish they would make this watch with automatic movement. And lume.
minamalism very beautiful
It looks like a kitchen appliance. That someone named Braun designed it is fitting. And it's Glashütte, not Glaschütte.
i see your face, Zach
Your friend has a beard
This is true.
My dream watch
"Mr. Ideal". You waste your time.
question is open.
Speak....more....slowly.....
Listen faster
I've seen watches on Amazon that has this basic look for $65, you gotta be high on some very affluent drugs to buy this.

Yeah, good point, I get what you´re saying. Seems all too expensive anacronistic.
Clearly you have no idea about what goes in to making a fine watch, your comment only serves to highlight your total ignorance
