Bivacco della Pace | Monte Castello | Alta Badia - Dolomites Drone

Video of the hike to the Bivacco della Pace, on the border between Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto, between Alta Badia and the Belluno Alps. The bivouac is located at an altitude of 2760 metres and lies beneath the rock of Monte Castello, on the border of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park. The view of the Tofane, Val Travenanzes, the Campestrin group and Alta Badia, dominated by Piz Boè, is spectacular. From the bivouac, it is possible to reach the peaks of the Casale and Cavallo mountains. A long walk to reach it in majestic surroundings that can be undertaken from the Capanna Alpina in Armentarola or from the Pederu and Fanes refuges.

Immagini dell'escursione al bivacco della pace, al confine tra il Trentino-Alto Adige e il Veneto, tra l'Alta Badia e il Bellunese. Il bivacco si trova a 2760 metri di altitudine ed è posto sotto la roccia del monte Castello, situato ai confini del parco naturale Fanes-Sennes-Braies. Spettacolare la vista sulle Tofane, sulla val Travenanzes, sul gruppo Campestrin e sull'Alta Badia, dominata dal Piz Boè. Dal bivacco è possibile raggiungere le cime dei monti Casale e Cavallo. Lunga passeggiata in ambiente maestoso che può essere intrapresa dalla Capanna Alpina ad Armentarola o dai rifugi Pederu e Fanes.
