I had a college roommate from Poland who was obsessed with Blade Runner. Once I saw the movie I too was hooked. The soundtrack was so good I went out and bought it. I listen to Vangelis to this day and still love it 25 years later.
I have lived many years to get to this place. Finally my life is peaceful at the moment. Not dealing with anything to crazy right now other that what everyone else is going through right now with prices and getting hit really hard for the most basic of food items. Just when I reach a point in my life when my life isn't a total whirlwind, external sources are slashing at me with its teeth and claws. That's life, thanks for this small respite.

When I woke up this morning and checked my phone, the last thing I had opened was this video on 2:00:00. This one actually managed to make me fall asleep within a few minutes, never happened before, but it definitely works.
Melancholy, comfort, contemplation and a promise of hope, that's how Blade Runner makes you feel sometimes. This extraordinary composition makes me feel the same.
love the 4k real rain contrasted by Deckard's AI-smooth skin (except on his troubled brow). lens-flares give an etherial haze of a smoky lounge that melts beautifully into the glare on the texture of the weathered (leather? surely not!) seatback. and the folds! obviously not the first time he's slept in that suitcoat. love it. good job. now think about doing a vibe like this to Dune, in one of the water caches, with Paul and Chani in quiet meditation or reverent awe? please.
I first saw Bladerunner in a theater in my college town back in 1982 as part of a "test" audience, before its general release. I will never forget it. Haunting then, still haunting now. Good work here in recapturing some of that luminous ambience.
Recently watched the blade runner live show. Full film with live music.. wow people!! It was a cinema full of fans who all knew that sound, lived that feeling, and remembered why we do what we do and love what we love. It’s in all of us to some point,, yet those who have found their way here truly know that place and open the soul to it.

Vangelis composed this music,he also did Chariots of Fire. Myself being a huge runner in the early 80's,I bought the movie album. Even this album gave an out of this world feeling!! The 2nd track,side1 Chariots of Fire has this ambiance, I played this as 8 drove up to sk8 thru the mts of VT .....it nice to see it carry on🌎
A world of tired decay, of the memories of better times before sadness set in and we became lost in the bustle of existence, yet for this moment that world can become our safe place, lost in a forgotten corner, looking out into the fog and rain,, and finding peace in the music that perfectly describes that moment without speaking a single word.

I've been dealing with some health issues lately (Nothing potentially fatal or anything, just minor issues). I turn this on and just sit back in a darkened room and clear my head when I need it.
Rain, air and railway. Yes, he is breathing. Yes, window have amazing details, too. Maybe, you could do something with lights from railway stations: face, table, maybe - window. Best regards to this masterpiece of visual art. Just wanted to have in like a screensaver on big display in one of rooms, or somewhere on the walls like a picture. But, I prefer another faces. And here is the big future of face localisation. Maybe, it will be new “railway” to future.

The animated breathing is a really clever thing to toss in. It's obvious that it's simple linear stretching, but it's subtle and well done.
