Emma you’re hands down the best Horror movie/show reviewer on RUclips! Crazy you’re not at 1 million plus subscribers yet. Keep spooking it I know you’ll hit that 1 million plus eventually!
Emma, you're the best - thank you so much for these lists that give me such life!! 🥰 Also, thanks for putting the release date next to each title! A little detail that's much appreciated!
I always love coming back to these videos at the end of the month to catch anything I may have missed, thank you for keeping all of our watch-lists alive and lengthy.
Looks like a great month for horror. Fellow Rebecca Hall fan here and can't wait for Resurrection! Thanks for keeping us well-apprised on what's coming to streaming!
Resurrection is definitely my most anticipated (along with Bodies Bodies Bodies, though that doesn’t qualify for this vid) Rebecca Hall is one of my favorite actors ever, especially after The Night House, which was amazing and makes me even more excited
Lots of new and exciting things to add to my list. Also, color me shocked to learn that Jason Stackhouse, the good ole southern boy from True Blood is Aussie. Lol.
These are honestly my fav videos as soon as I see them I get a notepad and pen! 💗 EDIT: I just watched Allegoria and couldn't believe it was only 69 minutes long!
Cannot wait for the Andy Baker Tapes!!! I don't care how stupid the majority of the horror fan population thinks it is, I love found footage horror films. It's so nice to see a new one that might have some potential come out.
These videos are kind of like a box of chocolates. It’s so exciting to see what’s gonna come up next. Super fun! And your hard work is always appreciated. Resurrection - finally! Glorious looks wild. But more Walking Dead? Go to bed AMC, you’re drunk.
Thanks Emma. I've been looking forward to Prey, but as usual you've given me more titles to look forward to. immaculate room and tin can look compelling!
Marrowbone is a favourite of mine , thanks for the heads up on Alma . Resurrection with Rebecca Hall looks really good too . Thanks for always adding new movies to my watchlists .
Great list Emma. Here are 4 more movies that will come this month i am looking forward to. Barbarian (horror/thriller) Fall (thriller) Beast (thriller) The Invitation (horror/thriller)
Look forward to these lists each month. I never have time to even get to half of the ones I want to watch though. Doing a big Predator marathon leading up to Prey. I haven't seen either of the newer ones.
Also, speaking of found footage movies , I loved “Phoenix Forgotten”, it heard only crickets after it came out! Did you ever do anything on that movie?? Did you or ppl watching this video like it?? Again, I thought it was cool, and creepy as hell.
A bit late here but Phoenix Forgotten was pretty decent. If you like that real world story of the Phoenix lights and Found Footage you could also check out The Phoenix Tapes 97 and The Phoenix Incident(if you haven't). I don't think they are as good as Forgotten but it's cool to see different takes on the subject matter.
Super complete list Emma... This August brings a lot of material to check... I'm more curious about: *Gone in the night* *The Prey* and *They/Them* and even more curious about *Smile* but it arrives in September.
OMG so much coming out this month really want to see Orphan First Kill. Also, wanted to let you know I watched The Girl in the Pictures and all I can say is DAMN! That is proof that real life is sometimes a lot stranger and messed up than fiction!
Thanks very much for the list, Emma. A very busy August it seems, along with the couple of horror theatrical releases we are getting this month. I am curious about "The Andy Baker Tape" and "Allegoria" (you had me at Rob Zombie's brother). I heard one bad review of "What Josiah Saw", saying it's a slow drama and not much horror.
I'm surprised to say that August has some interesting titles for horror. I don't often think of August as the best month of horror offerings (typically akin to January dump month), but I've added three titles to my watchlist. I'd like to see a video on your thoughts on the Michelle Monaghan series and on the Rebecca Hall film.
Gone in the Night! When I saw it it was called "The Cow" haha. I enjoyed the Andy Bakers Tapes but that could be because I was majorly thirsting for those two dudes. 😆 So Vam is cute first try but the most ultra low budget thing you've ever seen. I liked What Josiah Saw too! I'm most excited about Resurrection and Prey. I think Orphan might get a cinema release here so might wait for that. When I Consume You < Night House. Tin Can < Meander. The Immaculate Room looks like my kind of bottleneck thriller. Man there's HEAPS out this month, I'm gonna be so far behind 😅
Love your videos! I recently discovered William Peter Blatty's "The Ninth Configuration" (the only other movie he directed apart from "The Exorcist") and it's one of the most bizarre, incredible movies I've ever seen. There aren't many videos about it on RUclips (that I've been able to find) - which is a shame. Would be a great film to review IMHO.
Lots of good stuff to recommend here. Resurrection and Prey look promising. I'm on the fence with Orphan: First Kill after having seen the trailer (which looks like it gave everything away), but we can also guess what's going to happen by the concept alone. But I still want to give it a shot.
I didn’t realize it was the same actress ( The Orphan ), that was going to be my problem with it!!! Now , I gotta look up what other movies she has done!! I loved that movie in 2009.
Hey Emma, still pretty new to your channel. We subscribed as soon as we found you. Just watched your everything I watched videos from March to June. There was a show released in March called Shining Vale starring Courtney Cox and Greg Kinnear. Did you see anything about it?
So, I saw both "The Andy Baker Tape" and "Allegoria". Both films were a little over an hour each, so it made for a quick double feature. I felt that "The Andy Baker Tape" was kind of a rip-off of the Creep found footage films, so not much of a recommendation there. "Allegoria" was a bit better once I understood the film's Tarantino-like format.
What is going on with our Aussie release dates? We had it good for a while where we would even get many movies a day or 2 before the US but its going back to the old days of getting them about a month later. Only now, the cinema to home window has shrunk so by the time a movie comes out in theatres here I can just watch it at home for cheaper than going to the movies. That has to be hurting the industry right? With the exception of big stuff like Thor or Top Gun, most of what is Now Showing I can watch at home. I watched The Black Phone weeks ago at home. By the time Nope comes out in a few weeks it'll probably be available on VOD/streaming in America.
So many comments, not sure if it's been already mentioned somewhere, but what about "Bodies Bodies Bodies"? It's being released on August 5, A24... There's been some hype already, hope it's worth it.
Spooky, I guess you didn't attend the early screening of Prey in the US? Funny how everyone who did all posted previews with the same exact talking points Hulu gave them. I'm glad you remain objective and this wasn't only because you're in Australia.
Emma you’re hands down the best Horror movie/show reviewer on RUclips! Crazy you’re not at 1 million plus subscribers yet. Keep spooking it I know you’ll hit that 1 million plus eventually!
Agreed! The BEST! 🥰👌

Always nice to find out I’m not the only fan of “found footage” films.
Looks like a great month!! 👍
Love found footage!
@@spookyastronauts it’s simply the best 🎥
Emma, you're the best - thank you so much for these lists that give me such life!! 🥰 Also, thanks for putting the release date next to each title! A little detail that's much appreciated!
Thanks! Hope it helps! It’s just a rough guide as things can still change.
I always love coming back to these videos at the end of the month to catch anything I may have missed, thank you for keeping all of our watch-lists alive and lengthy.
omfg august is STACKED!!!
Cannot wait to see Orphan First Kill, so excited to see how they handle this!
Looks like a great month for horror. Fellow Rebecca Hall fan here and can't wait for Resurrection! Thanks for keeping us well-apprised on what's coming to streaming!
Loved your little dig at TWD😆
Don't remember a series falling so deep into the toilet.
Keep up the great content Emma, been a fan since the time you recommended "the Nightmare", and "Killer Legends".
Resurrection is definitely my most anticipated (along with Bodies Bodies Bodies, though that doesn’t qualify for this vid) Rebecca Hall is one of my favorite actors ever, especially after The Night House, which was amazing and makes me even more excited
I hope we get bodies here!! We will probably have to wait till September
@@spookyastronauts oh yeah true, that’s a shame, I’m sure a lot of us would definitely still be interested in a review tho if it fits in ur schedule
Count on you every month for vod recommendations and you never fail to satisfy. Thanks once again!
Loved loved loved Rebecca Hall in Resurrection! There's a nine minute oner that's just such a stunning scene
👀👀👀 I’m so excited to watch it on Friday!
‘ What Josiah saw‘ was an exceptional movie. Great recommendation!
Got so excited when u uploaded, that almost forgot to turn off my chainsaw

A very good month if you ask me. The first half is packed!
Gonna check out nearly all of those. Thanks, as always!

I've been waiting for this video! Look forward to it every month.
Prey! Thank you, Emma!!
Hi, Emma! Le Harvey (LH) here! Thanks for the shoutout. It’s still fckin weird hearing my name from you haha!
❤️❤️❤️
Lots of new and exciting things to add to my list. Also, color me shocked to learn that Jason Stackhouse, the good ole southern boy from True Blood is Aussie. Lol.
Emma!!! So clutch! I love your channel!! Thanks!

“Gone In The Night” was titled “The Cow” at the Overlook Film Festival
Glorious looks like a cosmic nightmare. I'm excited for Tin Can too.
5:30 and 6:47 Hooot stuff! 🕺
The Andy Baker Tape, What Josiah saw, the Sandman , School Takes, these are the ones I am really looking forward to. Thanks for another helpful video.
These are honestly my fav videos as soon as I see them I get a notepad and pen! 💗
EDIT: I just watched Allegoria and couldn't believe it was only 69 minutes long!
Cannot wait for the Andy Baker Tapes!!! I don't care how stupid the majority of the horror fan population thinks it is, I love found footage horror films. It's so nice to see a new one that might have some potential come out.
That one made my list too, along with Tin Can and The Immaculate Room
Spooky season is upon us I’m so excited
Great video also !!!
Omg I wanna watch all of these!!! Looking forward to a full month of horror escapism 🖤🖤🖤⚰️ The shirt is so cute btw
Glorious looks SO DOPE, definitely pumped to see that one
These videos are kind of like a box of chocolates. It’s so exciting to see what’s gonna come up next. Super fun! And your hard work is always appreciated.
Resurrection - finally!
Glorious looks wild.
But more Walking Dead? Go to bed AMC, you’re drunk.
You forgot KILLER BBQ!!! Best Horror movie this year!
Thanks Emma! Wow this is a great month for horror at home 😎🙌🏻
Thanks Emma. I've been looking forward to Prey, but as usual you've given me more titles to look forward to. immaculate room and tin can look compelling!
yeah immaculate room should be interesting, I cut a lot out of the trailer... it gives away another aspect
Emma! I just saw Allegoria... and it's freakin awesome. I was just too excited I need to tell you ;-)
Marrowbone is a favourite of mine , thanks for the heads up on Alma . Resurrection with Rebecca Hall looks really good too . Thanks for always adding new movies to my watchlists .
Checking this list as it gets available here, much appreciated. Have you
watched What Josiah Saw already? Biggest surprise so far, really great movie.
The only videos i look forward to every week, thank you Emma :)
Omg! Can not wait for SoVam!
I love it when you do these vids!! It Helps TREMENDOUSLY!!! Thank You!!
Thanks for the support
Emma, I love you, love your channel and I love your accent ❤️, I always tune in to you for the latest horror movies 😊
The Sandman is my goal for sure. Glorious and The Andy Baker Tape looks interesting.
Great list as always! added so much to my watch list.
Thanks for watching!
Great list Emma.
Here are 4 more movies that will come this month i am looking forward to.
Barbarian (horror/thriller)

Thanks Tanner!
Thank you for the work you do , I'll have to check out a few of these :D
Esther will be released in theaters here in France
I love Julia Styles, thanks for the content Emma!
Look forward to these lists each month. I never have time to even get to half of the ones I want to watch though. Doing a big Predator marathon leading up to Prey. I haven't seen either of the newer ones.
@Sonic collections ps2 noises I have no idea who that is.
I wouldn't mind more coverage of found footage type films. I'm a huge sucker for that genre! Especially if its sci fi/horror. Thanks!
Also, speaking of found footage movies , I loved “Phoenix Forgotten”, it heard only crickets after it came out! Did you ever do anything on that movie?? Did you or ppl watching this video like it?? Again, I thought it was cool, and creepy as hell.

I can’t Wait To Watch All The Movies … Thank you Emma 🙏💜 You Are the best
I saw a preview for a movie called Breach, did that come out yet? I can’t find a release date. It looked interesting.
good god I want to see ALL of these!!!!
Another great video. Thank you.
Liking all these lil known films ,now to remember them for movie night lol
haha!
Super complete list Emma... This August brings a lot of material to check... I'm more curious about: *Gone in the night* *The Prey* and *They/Them* and even more curious about *Smile* but it arrives in September.
Yeah smile should be fun!
Love this vod only section
OMG so much coming out this month really want to see Orphan First Kill. Also, wanted to let you know I watched The Girl in the Pictures and all I can say is DAMN! That is proof that real life is sometimes a lot stranger and messed up than fiction!
💯😬
I got a gig with a channel called HORRORMAX so I'll be watching their stuff this month.
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Resurrection! Blew my mind earlier this year at Sundance (in my bedroom haha)
I’m going to do a whole video on it 🫡
Thanks very much for the list, Emma.
I'm so excited about Prey!!!! also the found footage one looks good
Fish Jelly Reviews has a good video unpacking some of the issues with They/Them
'Echoes' looks awsome. They could've cast Ruth Wilson to play Michelle Monaghan's twin.
A collab between you and possessed by horror is a bucket list item lol 🖤
Done that ;) paranormal activity collab… and we also did a live on my Instagram

The Exorcist was directed by William Friedkin; Blatty wrote the book it was based on.
@@jhholmes5252 Apologies - I meant The Exorcist III - you are right.
I would like to hear your take on Resurrection, mainly to see if I should just wait for the Shudder release. Lol
Lots of good stuff to recommend here. Resurrection and Prey look promising. I'm on the fence with Orphan: First Kill after having seen the trailer (which looks like it gave everything away), but we can also guess what's going to happen by the concept alone. But I still want to give it a shot.

The Hunger Games. That's all I can think of
The last thing Mary saw 🤘🏼
Hey Emma, still pretty new to your channel. We subscribed as soon as we found you. Just watched your everything I watched videos from March to June. There was a show released in March called Shining Vale starring Courtney Cox and Greg Kinnear. Did you see anything about it?
Yes I talked about it coming out, but i dont think its been released on any streaming platforms in oz.
can't wait to see Esther again!!! also i don't care if the movie is bad i love Winona so much i would watch anyting shes in
Sammmee
Emma, always love your passion … Orphan First kill … fuck yes
I'm really looking forward to watching Resurrection as well! It's giving me ~unhinged woman~ vibes lol.

Can't wait to see The Andy Baker tape (i hadn't even heard about it before now, but i'm a huge fan of found footage!🖤) and the Orphan prequel. 🔪
Aaahhhh had to jump on here
Have you seen the trailer for House of darkness with Justin Long??? Looks good
Hope you do a review
Prey is the one I want to see. Interested to see what clever methods are used by the Commanche natives.
Rebecca Hall & Tim Roth together in a movie! Ok I’m in
Awesome 🤯
I'm keeping it spooky 👻 🤘
so many movies it feels like october lol

Hi what app do you use to watch vod movies thanks
RUclips rental or vudu with a vpn
Waiting for the Outwaters!
Yo So Vam was shot in Adelaide!! I recognise so many places!
Ohhhh wow
So many comments, not sure if it's been already mentioned somewhere, but what about "Bodies Bodies Bodies"? It's being released on August 5, A24... There's been some hype already, hope it's worth it.
Unfortunately that’s a cinema release not vod :( not out in most countries until September
You're right... Just watched the trailer, it's a theatrical release... Don't know why, but I have a good feeling for this one.
Spooky, I guess you didn't attend the early screening of Prey in the US? Funny how everyone who did all posted previews with the same exact talking points Hulu gave them. I'm glad you remain objective and this wasn't only because you're in Australia.
What Josiah Saw was attrocious!
None of these are available on any of my streaming services how do I find these films.
Watched Gone in the Night ,Prey and Resurrection already.. Prey's 2nd half was good
4:57 5th August is the PREDATOR Day 🎉✨🎊 and Friday the 5th August is PREY Day 🍾🍯🕺!
Sequel of the orphan(prequel technically) will be awesome
