These SIPM units work great with scintillation fibers for making portable radiation detector, also works with LYSO crystals fairly well, CsI:Tl not so much. Set the voltage to 27v and have a current limiter of 10 to 15mA max the 27v can vary a little bit between sipm assemblies. They also respond well to being actuvely cooled by a 3 stage peltier cooler of low wattage. Drops the dark counts drastically. Use a low noise pulse amplifier to readout. ❤
Thank you for this video. but I have one question. when I try to connect the benchtop power supply to SiPM board, I can only do one of the "Constant Current" Mode or "Constant Voltage" Mode. So, I can give 27V but not 15mA.(I feel the current is determined by the register of the board automatically) Can you let me know how you made both 27V and 15mA?
