Hi Rog again. Reinforces my belief that California cannot be bettered for views such as this along with the climate. Pretty much perfect anywhere and I've been to many places.long climb to the summit here. A real workout. Rog. Pacific sunset records .

Which cities skylines are those shown in the distance from 52:13-52:30?
It's all Los Angeles. Downtown LA isn't shown during that part of the video, however, there are other high rise areas in LA. Century City is a major business district in west LA, and that's where a lot of those skyscrapers on the right at 52:13 are :)
It's not LA's official downtown skyline, but it is a nice skyline that is still in the same city.

52:31 - Some high-rise buildings at Wilshire Blvd
52:38 - Downtown Los Angeles
At 52:13 you are looking at the ocean. That is Santa Monica skyscrapers just before the water.

this is a good hike, but there are too many people! i think alot of people/tourists only hike up here to see the stars. thats not why one hikes, we hike to enjoy the outdoors,scenery and the real stars in the sky

Some of these are paved fire roads. There are probably more unpaved trails at Runyon Canyon.
@@antoniahamilton3201 The main runyon trail was paved a few years ago, to the dismay of nature enthusiasts but to the cheer of urban millennials.
