@@ChasingSnow Not too great this season. Snow conditions were, let's say, "variable". And then my wife broke her ankle and, with all the care that see needed, that mostly ended our ski season. But we'll be back next year!
That first run you did, only the last bit to the chairlift is a black grade, the rest is just a steep red, and yo were fortunate to do it groomed. I've seen videos of a decent with it all moguled, and with lots of...enthusiastic intermediates.
I would call them "light black" as these pistes are quite steep at some segments, but they are wide enough to cancel out the steepness by serpentines. The footage can be misleading, especially the steepness doesn´t translate well in video footage. Wish you all the best, keep up the good work👍
The slope under the first gondola, 2003 day one, morning one. That fixed chair holds a place in my heart.
I'm glad this video brought back some nice memories :-) I assume you were with someone special?
You're living the good life. And also, you're an early bird!
Nice to hear from you Bart! How are conditions in Portes du Soleil?

@@bartmulder6995 Hope her ankle is much better now to enjoy the summer and ready for next season!

I think those blacks on older maps were marked red.
