That second level added an extra psychological difficulty for those who have played the actual Whomp’s Fortress and can pick up on the glaring inconsistencies. Mario Maker 2 has truly come far.

When Nintendo patches glitches out of Mario Maker, they keep the glitches active in old levels to avoid breaking them. It's actually a very reasonable way to do things (which is why I'm surprised Nintendo does it).
they've done so in other games
for example Mario Kart 7 patched out glitches for online but not time trials
Roblox should take notes :(
to not create impossible levels (for multiplayer and endless) the game wont update levels in an older patch but instead keep it the same version regardless of updates. this is why glitch levels dont have any items added in updates (unless the update made the bug/never patched it)

Actually, I'm pretty sure some glitches in that level were patched, Mario Maker 2 handles glitches in a pretty interesting way, the level will stay in the version the level was released in, allowing tech and glitches to still work in a certain level even when they get patched, preventing truely unbeatable levels from existing

That first level's dev star had a hint towards it, the blocks that line up with it are ice instead of cement. So I guess its more of a bonus star than a dev star.

Unless there was another level with that exact same opening bit, I remember seeing that speedrun level within the first year of the game's launch. It's been too long to remember specifics but I think I got as far as the either the munchers or the spike jump above it. (So much has happened over the years that my memory is insanely fuzzy) I hadn't touched the game proper in over 2 years or so and I never realized that this stage had remained uncleared all that time.
Getting to actually see the full level for the first time is absolutely amazing, let alone the fact that simple was the one to finally break ground on that level. Huge props dude!

Theses days ago i returned playing DBZ Kakarot which i didnt played since christmas and today i finished future trunks dlc. Then i decided to return to main story and finished namek saga too. After i finish this game im going to return and finish xenoverse 1, i only played 2 levels and decided to leave in a big hiatus since 2016 because bandai doesnt know to configure control on keyboard but with my xbox controller i can try again.
