I’d assume that no one’s stories or high strung energy even comes close to what it was like being next to farley in the 90s. Bert’s a walk in the breeze for Dave’s patience compared to that I bet
God I wish David Spade would get another talk show. I could listen to him talk all day long. He is an amazing raconteur. It's not even that he has interesting stories, it's that he makes the stories he tells interesting and funny.
David Spade is probably the best interview anyone could secure. The guy is smooth and rapid fire doing talk shows, and endlessly funny doing multi hour podcast.
I love how he just says his brother made a few beans. His brother and sister in law were behind one of the most iconic brands to come out of the US in the last 20 years.
"Did you show a copper mine earlier?" Spade, Marty Short, and Norm were the wittiest guys a couple years ago. Now it's Spade (age 59), Marty (age 73), and Nealon (age 70). Younger comedians, please step it up.
I can't believe how much I cannot stay away from David Spade's RUclips videos. Thank you for having this uploaded and ready for the people who are hooked on that irresistible man. I love the outfir at the start, btw, Bert!
Bert you crushed it on this podcast!! 👌👌👌✌✌✌ It's also really awesome to be seeing more David Spade lately. Looked up to him since I was little and he is such a solid dude.
Love David Spade! I remember my mom and I would watch Just Shoot Me and all the laughs we had. He's the best and love to hear everyone say that he's a nice person.
Got me so bad when after Spade realises the guys can pull up anything on the screen he goes ‘pull up carolwood’ 😂😂😂 so good when you understand someones humour
Spades a legend. Love his hat too. Shoutout Steve Miller Band. Its proof what a legend can do around a current comic. Brent wanted to be quiet and listen and genuinely laughed at so many things.
I've met/seen David spade about 50 times at a restaurant I worked at in vegas, he seriously was the biggest ladies man on earth, we are Eskimo brothers lmao
I love how Bert's guests handle his personality better than the people in the comments section. Jeezy peets people, learn how to accept others for how they are. Bert interrupts his damn self, it's not like he's doing it on purpose, it's just how his brain operates.
Thanks Bert and Crew , David its been a long time, your looking great ! , Bert Would love to see you visit Halifax Nova Scotia Canada sometime ! Us east-coasters drink like fish!!! love the pod casts
Sandler, Spade, Rock, Farley, Tim Meadows and George Carlin were the comedians of my childhood and early teenage years. So cool they are almost all still around. RIP Farley and Carlin.
1997, we were 30 kids sheltering in a basement from American bombing on baghdad , the lady that owned the house had a a casette player and tv, and 2 tank batteries , she put on tommy boy ,by david spade and chris farley , happiest night of my life 30 kids giggling louder than any bomb, most of us fell asleep before the the ending but it doesn’t matter we slept because we felt safe, thank you guys, and may god have chris next to him in paradise.
Another great interview of David Spade. A newfound appreciation for him on Theo Von’s podcast. Definitely recommend you check it out if you haven’t already seen it.
I love Spade, he’s the man but that’s not the same sweater. The one in this show has a yellow line through it and the other is just two white lines lol
A lot of people don't give Bert credit for what he's accomplished in the comedy world. If you can see past how he became famous and look at his body of work for what it truly is, you'll see that he is nothing short of an innovator. He was still working his ass off during the Pandemic. It was during that time he started doing drive-in movie theaters, of which he was the first to do by the way. Then after which, his comedic peers followed suit and did the same. Your efforts are celebrated, sir. I have been following your career very closely since you first appeared on Rogan (a time that I genuinely considered to be like the 'Wild West' days of podcasting.)
Thank God Spade is a gracious dude who takes things in strike because being told, 'the coolest thing about you is your cool circle of friends', is not exactly the winning compliment that Bert might think it is. Why not ask him about his work? Sammy? SNL?
Dave tells the best stories in his format. Way better than just telling jokes and or doing crowd work. If he had just told the story at the end of the night on his comedy Central show it would have still been on instead of trying to do stand up jokes. He's the best storyteller in the business
One of the greatest comedians of all time, with one of the best specials in history, and another comedian who made his entire career around one funny story he drove into the ground and could never top. Guess who’s who.
@@joeycassata6540 The Machine story? It’s Bert’s only good bit, and one of the two stories he’s been building everything around, with how Ari drugged him. He’s even making a movie about it.
Bert is the literal exemplification of Homer....if you don't get and/or understand that then you will miss the joke that we all love and appreciate. Edit: AND when I say Homer I mean the Iliad and the Simpsons
David Spade has been around comedians for so long, he knows how to cut Bert off and continue his story without being interrupted lol.
Berts biggest downfall is cutting people off mid sentence… and its sooo fkn annoying, love the guy, but he needs to work on that big time
The AYG something burning episode. It happened so much
I’d assume that no one’s stories or high strung energy even comes close to what it was like being next to farley in the 90s. Bert’s a walk in the breeze for Dave’s patience compared to that I bet
@@jeepnutscottydoing that AND telling his statement in a very long winded way , that he interrupted them to say
Yep. This is the only Bertcast I’ve been able to listen to for more than a few minutes.
I see David Spade, I click.
I’m a simple ham…
For those that don't know: he and Dana carvey have a pod together. Highly recommend a listen.
Same.
Thank you so so so so much David Spade for all the love and laughter you have brought to my family, me and everyone in the world God Bless you David
I'm tired of Carvey calling Spade a narcissist. Spade quit a frat because he couldn't imagine wanting to haze. That's not much of a narcissist.
God I wish David Spade would get another talk show. I could listen to him talk all day long. He is an amazing raconteur. It's not even that he has interesting stories, it's that he makes the stories he tells interesting and funny.
He has a podcast w Dana Carvey. It's good
I love Spade. There's nobody else who has his cadence and nonchalant way of talking, telling stories.
David Spade is Comedy Royalty! I'm blessed to live in his generation of conquest!
Did David spade used to party and do Coke? Wasn’t he genuinely friends with Chris Farley?
@@HH-gv8mx He used to do coke, but quit around the time he met Farley
Bert is stepping it up with these guests
Q: What would it take for me to watch Bert. A: Spade.
David Spade is probably the best interview anyone could secure. The guy is smooth and rapid fire doing talk shows, and endlessly funny doing multi hour podcast.
Love David Spade… thanks for having him on your show! You’re the best Bert
I love how he just says his brother made a few beans. His brother and sister in law were behind one of the most iconic brands to come out of the US in the last 20 years.
Oh, that's right.
Beans in his jeans. Lol
David Spade is a national treasure.
Spade is legitimately one of the funniest human beings alive, especially when he hops on these podcasts.
"Did you show a copper mine earlier?" Spade, Marty Short, and Norm were the wittiest guys a couple years ago. Now it's Spade (age 59), Marty (age 73), and Nealon (age 70). Younger comedians, please step it up.
Can I just say spade and his group are the goats it’s awesome you see these guys start to do podcasts it’s just awesome
Spade is so seasoned and Bert streeeeeeeeeeeetches the truth.
Spade added a stripe to his sweater. Skills.
¡trUth! LoOL .... I thought the same thing the second that pic popped up like, ".........wait...".
He was so sure of himself... LuLz
He was promoted
so happy to corroborate this with other people thank you

That was definitely one of the best podcasts guys. And that picture of the 4 of them at the end definitely put a smile on my face.
Bert you crushed it on this podcast!! 👌👌👌✌✌✌

Love David Spade! I remember my mom and I would watch Just Shoot Me and all the laughs we had. He's the best and love to hear everyone say that he's a nice person.
You can tell Bert respects David because he only talks over him about 20% of the time.
😂😂
Great convo , loved the whole thing !
Spade is a natural story teller
Spade IS the coolest! 😂 Hope i get to catch his live act someday. Great interview
Spade is the very best podcast guest !!! Always the best on any podcast!!
Spade is always the funniest guy in the room. Unless Norm was there.
Or so the germans would have us believe.
Or Colin Quinn. Check out Colin on Spade's podcast recently.
I so miss the NORM Show!!!🎉
"The funniest guy just in a room is Spade." -- Norm
Big fan Bert, watching you and Tom makes my days better with a smile! Keep it up Big Boy
Got me so bad when after Spade realises the guys can pull up anything on the screen he goes ‘pull up carolwood’ 😂😂😂 so good when you understand someones humour
“Pull up ice” 😂
Great interview. This is why these guys are still in the game.
Spade is the greatest story teller EVER!! 🐐
Spades a legend. Love his hat too. Shoutout Steve Miller Band. Its proof what a legend can do around a current comic. Brent wanted to be quiet and listen and genuinely laughed at so many things.
David Spade and Bobby Lee are so modest but soooo successful. Humbleness is the best quality in a celebrity.
Bobby Lee has a net worth of $1 mil… Spade is worth 70x times that. I am assuming you’re talking success in other attributes lol
Humility is the word you're looking for. Read a book sometime.
This was straight up _the best_ Spade interview I've ever seen.
I’m in love with David Spade!
Bert let him talk👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
David is always an instant click if it hasn’t been said enough!
Spade is so funny
He's what? The guy has never been funny he is an annoying AF sidekick
I can't believe they cancelled 'Lights out'..... Shame on them
@@B-RaDDcomedy central sucks. But really it was the pandemic that killed it. Covid sucks
I can’t believe how much pussy he gets. He’s known for gifting his girls Kate spade bags. He probably stopped doing that after she committed suicide.
Omg he’s the best.
Bu-bbbbyyye!
“Predominantly fat?”
Dave rules.

Ahhahahhahahhaa
Man the amount of girls this guy has seen I'd be surprised if we all weren't Eskimo bros with him haha
Rumor has it he is big in more ways than one
Love Spade...dude is so chill and authentic
Spade saying 'Thanks Dad' by accident at the end was the most endearing Freudian slip I have ever heard.
Loved it! Love the conversation! None of the interview BS, you guys conversing was top notch butterscotch! Can’t wait for part doś!
Goddamn David Spade is so underrated as a story teller 🤣 laughing so hard
"I've never laughed so hard when she had two broken arms" .. "Oh you stole her percocets??" LOL
how do you come up with that that quick... so good
😂
This is easily the best job Bert has ever done interviewing someone
It gets worse?
The idea that David was bullied by the frat and than he runs the frat in PCU... That's gold
Drives me crazy how Bert always makes it a Bert interview
He’s a narcissist
Even with a huge guest like Spade, Bert always makes it about Bert 😂
Thats why i watch, its his show.
Its getting old for sure
