What a wonderful and uplifting spiritual video... thank you. I'm a lapsed V Catholic and no longer conventionally religious but I loved your approach to living life in your Hymer. Good luck to you and g God bless you both.
Love a purple cat road trip me. Enjoyed the whole film. Utterly stunning places and your filming is spot on. It was bitter sweet for me as I miss my Scottish trips these days. Work is consuming me. I only get away at weekends. But it was great to follow this trip with you both. It’s sad that skye is like it is now and hopefully like you say “they” will all be away back over “there” next year. You’re a great narrator too. Very interesting. The end scene up bidean had a lump in my throat. Thank you for taking us along. It’s been a great journey. Hope you’re both keeping well. Atb. 👍
Thanks for watching Andy was amazed you watched it all. You talk about work consuming you, funnily enough I did a longer version of this for our church and used the exact word "Consuming" it takes me over a week to fully relax mate so I don't know how you do it. Having said that your regular wild camps must help massively. ATB Mate and again thanks :) Tim
Inspiring video. Many thanks. We are also looking at getting a camper van so found this video and channel. By Chance. The history of Celtic Christianity is indeed quite interesting. Regards from Ireland.
Stunning video Tim and Mandy. You can see in your face and hear in your voice the weight of life and the world being released from you on this trip. Beautiful to watch and hear. Despite the camper problem it was a gem of a break. Perfect.
Tim and Mandy hope you two r keeping well. I would just like to say what a fantastic video mate. You know how much I love Scotland 🏴 and you bring it all back to me . I’ve missed out on two years of getting up there. But definitely doing the gormes next year. Can’t wait wild camping back in the hills . Cheers Tim brilliant that 👍⛺️🏴
Thanks Alan yes mate we share the same passion for that place. Glad you will get up to the gormes lets just hope this lock down stuff is done with now! really enjoyed climbing a proper mountain again...forgotten how good that feels :) Tim
Tim & Mandy I would just like to say that film just blew me away the locations the music your narrating all absolutely brilliant I would imagine it will have taken you a lot of your holiday time to bring us along and capture so many thanks for bringing us along those stone crosses and churches stunning architecture and craftsmanship just great to visit. and to end the film to be on top of bideon you also had the weather. Which will have topped it off. ATB
John thanks so much for your encouraging words. I do a longer version for our church and yes it does take a lot of doing but I want people to see what we have on our door step. Also because our channel is small it doesn't tell the world about our little secret "The West Coast of Scotland" hopefully if & when Covid is done we will get it to ourselves again lol :) Tim
Hi Tim/Mandy I hope your both keeping well just watched this master piece again. I am off to the cairngorms in May for a week then wanting to head over to Isla and Jura for the second week on my own
Stunning, beautiful, emotional. Thank you so much for bringing this experience into my life. Couldn't switch it off from start to finish. God bless the three of you ♥
Hi Tim and Mandy I've been to Fidden farm campsite and Calgary bay on Mull every year for the past 30 years and been to Iona more times than I can think in my boat I'm so glad you guys made it . It might be silly but I have always thought that I would meet up with you one day on your travels take care both Kenny 👍
Kenny it would be great to meet you one day mate! we do seem to gravitate towards the same places. Thanks for watching buddy I know this was a bit drawn out :) Tim
Brilliant video again , I’ve been watching you since the bongo days . I’ve just sold my bongo won’t get my new camper till November Bad news about the good spots being ruined by the moronic few I think more and more places will start doing camper parking but it’s not as good , a lot of the appeal was being in remote places by yourself I usually head for the north of Skye , I noticed a difference this year , it was mobbed , maybe they’ll all be back in magaluf next year 👍🏻
thanks for watching yeh things are changing indeed, but it will work itself out in the end. BTW Wow thanks for your support since the old Bongo days! :) Tim/Mandy
Incredible work again, I’ve been watching your videos for years but this is especially good. Iona is a truly beautiful place, one of my favourite places on earth.
Stunning photography and commentary, glad to see you both well. I have been following you since your Bongo days. Love your old Hymer. Regards from the Solent Coast. AJ
Great Video Tim & Mandy, an hour of relaxation. Have you considered converting your bicycles to electric. Would you think a VW t25 would go down the narrow lanes and onto the ferry? Thanks
That was lovely T & M. It was nice to see Tarbert again. We used to stay on a beautiful estate near there on the Knapdale Peninsula. What a place...what memories! I don't know if you are familiar with the Iain Banks novel 'The Crow Road' but the BBC used the house and estate as the setting for the McHoan family home. Some of the outside scenes were filmed in Tarbert. As for Iona. One of the brothers who owned the estate was a Buddhist and he arranged the Dalai Lamas visit to Iona. Some sort of inter faith thing I guess. I've been aware of the problems on Skye for a while and not been inclined to visit. You certainly sold Islay to me though!
Thanks John yes mate I wasn't sure if people would even watch this with it being so long. Islay feels like Scotland 25 years ago, thats the best compliment I can pay it. Iona just has something about it. I spent a lot of time talking with people from all over the place & to have the weather there was very special indeed. Thanks for watching I know it was drawn out lol :) Tim

Thanks Sinclair yes mate we could actually breath... now back to the nightmare of forcing the Star of David onto anyone who refuses the magic juice.
Looked like an amazing trip Tim!
